Re: Orient ticket price for away fans
What happened to the Twenty's Plenty campaign? Been affected by above inflation rises too? Us charging £33 for a ticket is absolute robbery. And we all know what the answer is. I've stopped going to some MusicGigs cos some of the prices are taking the p*ss. Same. £70 to see Pixies at the Forum? Com...

Re: Orient ticket price for away fans
I want us to stay affordable and would rather we stayed in L1 or L2 than be priced out of watching Orient like Fulham fans are in the PL Fulham have sold out of Season Tickets & sold more than ever before according to there official site . Thats at £3000 for a season ticket in Main Stand withou...

Re: Discontinued crisp brands/flavours
Walkers beef and onion are my biggest miss. They brought them back only to stop them again. Golden Wonder Bovril, and Gammon. I didn't realise Brannigans had stopped. Last got some from a market stall in December 2020 - must have been very end of the line. The beef and mustard was on the extreme end...

Re: Club Membership
I found the membership thing to be extremely frustrating. It seems that everyone you might want to buy a ticket for needs a one Orient account, so you create an account for that person and when you try to assign the ticket, it says, that person doesn't have the correct attributes! Definitely lookin...

My second team is Leyton Orient.
I pronounce it scone, when it needs to be said. I don't imagine it arises more than a couple of times a year.

He's a handful. Could be a huge success. It's not going to happen for him at Hibernian. RW has managed him before. Family home is in London.

Re: Orient Legacy Fans
Scrap concession prices so that hardworking families don’t subsidise those who don’t have mortgage, but do enjoy free travel and inflation-linked pensions. Its pretty crazy that, in the absence of means testing, the squeezed worker pays more than those with often substantially more disposable income.

Re: Season Ticket Sales
All this nonsense on caps is the new bit. Of course they won't cap season ticket sales. I think ST would be capped at a certain level - perhaps 6,000. In a 9,000 capacity stadium with 1,500 away allocation and occupancy approaching 100% LOFC dont want the same 7,500 people attending (or not attendi...

I don’t think points total is particularly relevant, but for a 24 team division to only have one automatic promotion place is inequitable

Re: 248 Live League One Sky Matches a Season
The arithmetic is 24 teams multiplied by 23 home matches = 552 matches
I presume the 248 will include all midweek matches, but it’s still a lot of weekend matches

Quite tedious, but not as artificial and annoying as media interest bestowed upon Salford City and AFC Wimbledon in previous years.

I'd have ideally had Harrogate and AFCW going down. Hartlepool seem to have momentum under John Askey so I think it'll be between Colchester and Crawley. Rochdale are down, no way are they catching two clubs.

Re: Evri/Hermes
We know our Evri driver (his son plays in the same sports team as one of my sons), this may have limited our items lost in transit to just two this year - including two umbrella stands - although we're only in March I suppose. Initial City Link were the trendsetters for crap delivery - I'd always tr...

Re: Live Q&A tomorrow
Surely an expensive scoreboard has to pay for itself very quickly through advertising? I can't recall a match where I've lost track of the scoreline. I also have a phone to tell me how long has been played, this copes better with the mysteries of added time than a scoreboard that stops on 45 and 90....

Re: How can ticketing be improved next season?
I agree that the North Stand problem is persons without kids/occasional kids using it as a way of getting cheaper tickets. It happens at other clubs - I was in the Family Section at Newcastle last season and I doubt 10% of those present were under 18. However, kids have no income themselves and thei...

Re: Harlow FC
I would not describe Harlow as an up-and-coming town. The idea of Leyton Orient moving out of London to a medium sized town isn't that dissimilar to Clyde FC moving from Glasgow to the new town (like Harlow) of Cumbernauld, 10 miles out of their home city. Whilst there 28 years Clyde have declined o...
