Re: Exiles Thread.
I don’t get it. Why is that funny? Budget? Drinan approx 3k a week Thompson about the same Turns about the same again All left in January. There's your budget. Could not see Swindon and Barnet paying that level of wages for those two players so can only think that Os paid off a hefty amount of this...

Re: Exiles Thread.
Hector was non stop put down by many on this forum ( especially so by ''Tuffers'' ) when he was at the Os.
It was a good move for him to to get away and sign for Peterborough.

Some sick bunnies on here isn't there.
Nothing better to do with their time than make stupid and disreputable comments about the Princess of Wales, and King Charles who has cancer.

Re: Question (part2) Mr Wellens
If we can sign Idris the midfield will be sorted, two Centre backs and a full back for the defence. Then all we need to find is a proper goal scorer and a keeper Two strikers I reckon as Pigott looks a busted flush we'll need to try and move on somehow Nice to read some sensible comments but haven’...

Re: Archibald v O'Neil
Not sure what the aim of this thread is. We can all opine who we think is better, but to what end? Doesn’t this apply to the entire concept of a message board, not just this thread? It does, but fully agree with this comment ‘The original post in this thread shows a lack of class IMHO - Theo has 9 ...

Re: Archibald v O'Neil
As we lose Theo, we bring in O'Neil, which was fantastic timing, but who is better? I believe O'Neil, is much better than Archibald. I realise that might be controversial. Last season, Archibald was a major factor in our success, but I dont think hes top quality league 1, whereas O'Neil is, even af...

When asked, George says in this video that he puts his recent good form down to his strong religious beliefs and Jesus Christ.

Re: RIP Stan Bowles
First time I saw Stan Bowles was back in the70’s, QPR had brought him in as a replacement for Rodney Marsh who they had sold to Man City. Not only did he play like Marsh but even looked like him from afar. Brilliant player. Pity the two of them were not playing together as team mates in the same te...

Re: Cannabis
Personally, I don`t like the argument that cannabis is more accessible/common today so we might just as well legalize it. But, if scientists and new research find that the health risks are small, then I will be more open to liberalisation. Why do you ( or any others) feel the need to take drugs ? A...

Re: Ratings v Oxford
Good ratings. It was Pratleys man that ran in behind James after Cooper, Beckles and James all got pulled in. Galbraith didn’t cover himself in glory either but then again, he’s not really a defender (although is filling in as a footballing full back superbly). Great to see Moncur looking fit at la...

Re: Oxford view
Was listening to BBC Oxfordshire on the way home. About 4 Oxford fans in a row called in to moan about how awful the team is, how sh*t the manager is and how the season is ruined. You’d think they were in a relegation battle, not in the place off places. Proper weird & pessimistic. Sounds like ...

Re: Cannabis
It’s no different to alcohol. Enjoyed in moderation like everything else. I say legalise it, great source of revenue for the government, will help I’m sure with money being lost from Cigarette taxes. Trouble is ( judging by the amount of drug addicts in UK and the rest of the world ) So many get ho...

Re: Ed Turns
I agree with LSN, Turns is a good footballer. He’s two footed, yes his physicality lets him down as a CB but he won his fair share of headers and for me he’s better than Cooper. I think Wellens could have played him as a deep lying midfielder instead of Pratley. As usual you made some good points. ...

Wonder what the reaction would be if Donald Trump invested or brought out a EFL club, just wonder how the fans would react if Trump spent on millions on their own football team ? If success soon followed would many supporters soon swallow their pride and jump onboard ? Bring it on, Make Orient Grea...

Just seems really random to level this at Theo, none of our other many long term injured players. Well obviously it’s a factor for all players with long term injuries. Theo just seems like an intense bloke who wears his heart on his sleeve. Maybe the comments misplaced as I don’t know him Love Theo...
