Oxford view
Great summary of the game, full of praise for us and one player in particular (No surprises who)

One of the best blogs i've ever seen. He told it like it was with no sour grapes or whinging. Well done.

Re: Oxford view
Decent listen. Very complimentary.
I don’t think Oxford are as bad as he’s made out based on just today. But I don’t have to watch them every week.

Re: Oxford view
He's getting fan vlogging massively wrong by offering a well balanced set of thoroughly considered opinion that's lacking in hyperbole. Never catch on.

Re: Oxford view
Was listening to BBC Oxfordshire on the way home. About 4 Oxford fans in a row called in to moan about how awful the team is, how sh*t the manager is and how the season is ruined.
You’d think they were in a relegation battle, not in the place off places. Proper weird & pessimistic. Sounds like this bloke isn’t much different.

Re: Oxford view
Good point. Its all about expectations - and theirs seem set high because for the large part of this season Oxford have been in the mix. Recent results have now jeopardised thisThe Reverend wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 7:38 am Was listening to BBC Oxfordshire on the way home. That geezer is a Fred Nathan doppelganger
Saw Fred just before kick off and he said we would lose 3-0
Dont give up the day job Fred.

Re: Oxford view
Very complimentary towards us which was nice. But to listen to that guy you would think that Oxford were in the relegation zone rather than sixth! Still, I guess that they haven't had many wins recently and can see the promotion dream slipping through their fingers.

Many football fans are never happier when they are complaining about their own teams performances, manager etc !The Reverend wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 7:38 am Was listening to BBC Oxfordshire on the way home. And to think we still haven't been able to play our strongest side yet . I'm absolutely delighted with Richie and our players .
