Re: Jack Simpson
How much bad PR do you think this is generating? Enough to taint this club Don’t seen this is tainting the club, being prepared to give someone a second chance who has shown remorse for what happened I see as enlightened, much preferable to a cancelled for life culture in my opinion. The club hiera...

Re: Manchester City
Find it utterly depressing they won it again and all 3 promoted sides got relegated Agree - and of the three sides relegated last season, two will come straight back up and the third are destined to be beaten play off finalists. The gulf is far greater than ever, do blame the F.A. for presiding ove...

Re: Hector gets a new contract offer
Good to see Hector progressing.
I see a lot of Posh - my second team as son supports them - and clearly Fergie has developed what he saw as the potential in Hector and has got him amongst the goals this season too.

Looking back at those results analysis – who gave whom the maximum twelve points ….. So fifteen countries – the popular vote across Europe – thought Israel had the best song; one country thought Switzerland had the best song ……. yet Switzerland win it, purely down to the individual juries of a handf...

I remember Phil so well, was my favourite player of that era. He signed for Norwich from us, was a good player for them too - last I had heard he was still living up here in Norfolk.
R.I.P Phil, thanks for all the memories.

Re: Richie signs new 3 year deal
Brilliant news and start to the close season. I was fearing us losing him with him missing from the Starman night. Then the comment on the released list yesterday which involved him made me think maybe not, fingers have been crossed since. I think he’s been bitten before, knows he’s got a great chai...

Re: Will Richie still be our manager next season? POLL
Interesting that Richie is quoted on the club statement on the retained list, wanting to speak to the players released personally and shake their hands. So presumably he wasn't in Barnsley to do that.

Re: Will Richie still be our manager next season? POLL
Going nowhere scaremongers Ritchie signing a new contract in the next few days before he goes on his family holiday. Him & PT still renting in Buckhurst Hill so going nowhere. Rest my case Why would he turn down Cardiff only to go to Barnsley. Whoever started these silly threads should be sent ...

Re: Migrants crossing the channel
As I see it the main issue in the country is there’s too many people in relation to infrastructure/ services not having kept up. Just look around: hospitals & waiting lists, lack of dentists, roads are more clogged than they used to be, potholes, shortage of housing, young people struggle to get...

League 2 ups and downs
Seeing the Wrexham result yesterday v FGR; Stockport also claimed promotion; the Mansfield win at MK Dons; Colchester moving out the bottom two leaving FGR and Sutton looking very likely for the drop; Chesterfield are heading into the EFL, quite likely it will be with an ex EFL team too - it all mad...

Re: Peterboro
My son a Posh fab so he was happy - we've adopted each others' teams as our second teams. While I can never want us to lose, the 3 points we didn’t get will I suspect make no difference to us, but it could make all the difference to them, so on the basis I don’t begrudge them it and good luck to the...

Re: RATINGS
Was a poor quality game, one of the worst I've seen for a while, livened up a bit towards the end, but had 0-0 all over it from early on. Passing was at times awful, any ball over the top rarely found the right man. No one really came out of it with any credit, Vale keeper did nothing wrong, not tha...

RIP Stan, Remember him well, as observed above he was so good for Chiedozie, fed him wonderful balls to run onto down the right wing.

Re: Ratings
My first look at O’Neill, what a game, we so need him with the bad news on Theo. Galbraith impressed me all game. The winning goal, the Cobblers were poised to break which would have been dangerous, ball in the air, Galbraith up against a much taller opponent, but he held back before timing his jump...

Re: RW seriously pi55ed off
It’s been a recurring theme business being done late in the window, RW has mentioned it before, I agree his point, but it keeps happening, the inference is that we’re not learning and proactive enough. But hey we’re top of the current form table (last 6) so got to be happy with that, we’re gonna mis...

Re: Traitors S2 (definitely contains spoilers)
It’s compulsive viewing in our house, we even caught up with the US and Oz versions too last year and plan to do the same this year (apparently a NZ version coming too). As with other series, it’s all about keeping one guessing, heightening the suspense, the ratings. I get that, but couple of things...

Enjoyed the highlights, looked a superb all-round performance where it all came together, and as I said in a post in the week Fratton Park has been a happy hunting ground for us. It’s also the third time this season we’ve beaten the league leaders, following wins at Exeter and v Cambridge earlier in...

I think we’ll do better than we did in the reverse fixture, we’ve actually won at Fratton Park on three of our last four visits.

Interesting thought, I saw another article saying Luton had received enquiries from four L1 clubs, so he's clearly going somewhere.
