Re: Season Tickes around the prem
A friend of mine has just renewed his season ticket at Charlton and he has to buy a voucher for £56 on top of his ticket. The voucher is then exchangeable for food and drink within the stadium on a match day . How long before ‘Nigel’ tries this with our fans ?? In Belgium and Holland a decade ago i...

Re: O's v Hearts - the after party!
I have a spare ticket for the Paul Weller gig on the evening of the Hearts game. There are three of us O's fans (aged 50+) already going but we have a 4th ticket. Its £95 face value. If anyone is interested then pm me. Apparently there will be no booze on sale so not much of a party!! I shall be ca...

Re: Rotherham
Well Johnson Clarke-Harris will be on decent bucks for a start. Reece James from Sheff Wed and Sean Raggett and Joe Rafferty from Portsmouth will also not be on peanuts. Salaries definitely more than we can afford. More than we paid Moncur to entice him down to L2? More than we paid Agyei to beat o...

Picture the scene. I drive down from Edinburgh yesterday to see mum in Woodford. Left the house at 5.30am Had one hold up of 30 minutes. Another traffic jam on the m11 of 45 minutes. Eventually get to Loughton heading into Woodford and what do you know, all roads closed. 1 hour of trying anyway pos...

Re: Constituency Watch
We have Laura Trott in Sevenoaks who holds a 20,000 majority. Considered a rising star in the party, she's a poor constituency MP IMO and I can see her having her majority slashed. Sevenoaks itself has mainly LibDem councillors and its only the surrounding countryside that keeps the Tories as their ...

Re: Rooney to speak to Plymouth over managerial vacancy
Did very well at Plymouth; DC United was a bit of a bucket case and he never achieved anything there. Birmingham was a bad move and he should have had the sense to see that. Plymouth will be a tough gig - they were sinking like a stone the second half of last season. So what makes him do it? He does...

Re: Ok addressing the elephant in the room
I suspect their agents have been hawking them around to other clubs to see if they can get 'better' deals elsewhere. I suppose that is an agents job, but there must be a time limit, and I'd have thought it is well past that now. We need to know soon, so we can consider getting in other players if i...

Re: Season Tickes around the prem
All clubs are trying to "monetise" their grounds more. For us its called "improving the matchday experience" because we are behind the times - hence the east stand makeover this summer. The club is trying to entice us to spend more money in the ground by doing this; its not forci...

Re: Transfer Window Dates.
Anybody see the point of having a transfer window? Not really, hinders clubs like ourselves from being able to bring in players when the squad is ravaged by injuries. Maybe clubs should be able to bring in emergency loans like they can with keepers. When windows were brought in, bigger clubs were j...

Re: How many is a few?
Here’s the answer - if your partner is popping to the shops, and she says “do you want anything?”, if you say “a couple of beers”, you mean two. Three is a bonus but not expected. If you say “a few beers” and get three, you’d feel shortchanged but not able to say anything cos you didn’t specify. Fo...

Very publicly saying that Pigott isn't his kind of player is also a massive power move, given how much money JP is on. I don't know why we signed Pigott in the first place if he doesn't suit our style of play . People said on here he was a panic signing so maybe they were right . Agreed, but last s...

Had an Erdinger 0% at the weekend. It was very drinkable, but I was handed it as a promo at the end of a sporting event and was not up for drinking any type of beer. I'd drink it against if I were the nominated chauffeur one weekend.
