Re: Are these rearranged reduced priced fixtures devaluing season cards?

Doubtful. Reduced prices for less attractive matches are standard practice. The English Football League and National League permit clubs to run promotional reduced prices either 2 or 3 times a season. The motivation is something outlandish like making football more accessible. Because constantly mo...

Re: Womens team under new ownership?

It's a fact that 75% of Women's Super League fans are "new fans" i.e. don't attend the respective men's team's matches. Which is fine, and will probably increase. With Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Crystal Palace and West Ham all in the 12 team WSL I rather feel the London market is already...

Re: UEFA sulking

Sounds like uefa have been lent on by some of the big prem clubs to try and spook the government. The lobbying campaign being run by the premier League against the idea of a regulator is well funded and slick. Exactly this. The opposition to a regulator comes from the oligarch and billionaire owner...

#2 and #3 are alright, the rest are bad, some really bad. Gentle word play is cutting edge jokes, or is Christmas cracker duration the benchmark for a disposable, near clickbait article.

Re: The baby murdering nurse

257 nursing handover notes were found under her own bed at home. And so? People do weird stuff. I've worked somewhere where the individual in charge routinely took sensitive files, that should never leave the building, home with them. And at an insurance company where hundreds of insurance claim fo...

It was the worst VAR penalty decision I've seen. Kicks ball, connects with defender on follow through, throws himself to the floor.

I was at a EFL2 match this season and some dimwit two rows behind held a radio to his ear for the whole match. The social fcukwit version of playing music on your phone out loud on the bus.

Re: Local elections - How are YOU voting?

Lots of cowardly tories about I think people are underestimating the potential for a shy Tory voter turnout out the next General Election. It's happened before when Labour were considered to be sailing to a victory. I'm not saying it will be enough to save the Tories, but Labour may not win as comf...

Re: New One off Somme Kits

Anyone got one of the 3 current 23/24 shirts? Do they come up small or large ?... I'm seeing Medium = 38/40, which might be a little tight, but Large 42/44 probably too big... anyone got any experience please- before I drop £75 on a shirt that doesn't fit, which I imagine I'll have no chance of ret...

Re: Ollie O’Neill

I presume the reason the match with Exeter is off is because Sotirou, O'Neill and Obiero are the three called up I thought the game was called off before we knew about the call ups. Maybe it was because of Exeter call ups Clubs and players are told of international selection before it becomes publi...

The only two I've seen play more than once are Ollie Harfield, who could play in L2 but isn't anything special, and McCallum who looked way too slow and immobile for a higher level.

We know how the EFL will deal with the Bolton match; it will be played from the beginning again. At some unspecified point in the near or not so near future. Whether this is the best option going forward really needs to be considered.

It will be interesting to see what happens next time. During the same week there was a fatality at one of the NFL matches played in London and a similar, non-fatal incident at Sunderland. For reasons of sporting integrity I don't believe Lincoln were obligated to accept the result as it stood . How...
