Yeah, but that's just the UK Government. Until we get official message board confirmation, I wouldn't be too quick to jump to conclusions.
Now confirmed it was an IRBM, not ICBM. Not that it makes much difference. Russia notified the US just before launch through nuclear risk reduction channels.

Because they've not paid their licence fee, so need to keep their heads down.

I can remember years ago a UK government video on how to survive a nuclear blast . My two favourites are with only 15 minutes warning to whitewash your whole house to deflect the heat from the blast. The second was to put your bed mattress up against a wall and hide behind it . Yeah, so basically you’re dead .

Fantastic. Clint Eastwood is so good. Wish he played football and for Orient.
