So if the proxy war cheerleaders were notified in advance why did they not tell the BBC. Shambles and now lies.Dunners wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 8:11 pmNow confirmed it was an IRBM, not ICBM. Another undersea cable, this time linking Sweden and Finland, has now been cut in two places. Foul play is suspected.

Dunno. North Korean troops have been deployed to Ukraine, so a possibility it was linked to that. But the drama appears to be over now anyway.

Martial law to be withdrawn. Thank f*ck for that. I wasn't looking forward to having to become a Korea expert as well.

You should spend 15 minutes on Google getting up to speed because it's not a good look when our Asian political editor in chief gets blind sided by something as significant as this. Frankly it's embarrassing.

Re: Russia / Ukraine Watch
Interesting to see that Russia sat back and let Assad be toppled after propping him up all these years. A sign they're overstretched due to the actions in Ukraine, or some other political reasoning?

Re: Russia / Ukraine Watch
It's mainly a two way fight between Turkish and Iranian proxies. Russia wasn't will to risk its fleet at Tartus for Assad.
As for the Syrian people, congratulations on getting rid of your brutal dictator. And say hello to your new jihadist rulers. At least Shamima Begum will now get what she always wanted.

Re: Russia / Ukraine Watch
Whats going on here?
There seems to be an attempt to shut Europe out of any 'peace' deal. I expect Putin would love to deal solely with dummy Trump.
