Re: What a colossal waste of talent..

Sir Alex ain't got many wrong - and he was right with Pogba.

Personally I thought he was a bell end. Now I know he is.

Re: Gas build-up

There's a difference this season. Orient have a 12th man - the crowd. We are loving it and the performances on the pitch is inspiring the fans off it. We might be a bit thin in squad numbers but the belief is high at the moment. Expect to be both entertained and beaten on Saturday.

Tactically miles ahead of anything we have ever witnessed at the Orient.
More passionate than any manager we have ever had too.
Best football ever played by an Orient team.
3 great reasons to buy a new season ticket that will go up 10%? I think so.

Re: When Politics encourages Violence .....

There has been a resurgence of far right politics all over the world. When things get tough for working class people, historically, many turn to the far right as their saviour. History has also told us, that it always ends in tears, and is never the answer, but it doesnt stop future generations goi...

Can't be worrying about yellows now. If we don't win tomorrow then none of this matters. Play hard and fair and take the risks associated.

Re: Ratings v Oxford

Cooper showed his balling abilities yesterday with at least 3 passes that dissected the midfield. Having Big George there to receive showed both players off in a really good light. Really pleased we got the win we deserved. Even a draw would have been rough justice. Everyone played their part and wh...

Re: Ed Turns

I agree with LSN, Turns is a good footballer. He’s two footed, yes his physicality lets him down as a CB but he won his fair share of headers and for me he’s better than Cooper. I think Wellens could have played him as a deep lying midfielder instead of Pratley. You think that after Cooper's perfor...

Re: Shamima Begum

What a cop out from the Court of Appeal! Seems that they didn't actually explore and evaluate the circumstances and evidence etc, but simply determined that Javid as Home Secretary made the decision and they assumed that he had explored all the details and whatever, so it is in his power to make th...

Many of the other high court cases where the judiciary are on the side of the common man, the law is cast aside for common sense. The just stop the oils cases for example is a classic example. Northampton twice behind in the game but came back both times to equalise - a bit like the game against us but Oxford couldn't nick a last minute winner. Hopefully that might have sapped a bit of their energy whereas this time, it is our turn to have a week off and hopefully prepare properly. I hop...

Re: RW: squad isn’t strong enough

We are too slow because we are not prepared to pay wages that this division demands for good players. We only had a small budget left over in the window that could not attract any good experienced players. The club states that we have a transfer committee that sits down regularly to target players ...

Re: RW: squad isn’t strong enough

Richie clearly not happy with the Jan transfer window, going as far as having to be given a dressing down by Travis for public criticism. Clearly he holds Ling responsible for transfer activity. During an interview back in Jan Wellens basically said transfer dealings are nothing to do with him, it’...

Forde has improved immensely since his first couple of games when I wasn’t impressed. He looks far more confident now and must have a fair chance of being offered a deal in the Summer. Forde clearly has a better appreciation of what he has to do for 90 minutes than he did 3 months ago. He would hav...

Key question: why IS our Richie such a good manager? Is it partly because he never quite fulfilled his great potential as a player? Answers on a postcard… Both he and JE have that leadership "X Factor" that I'm still trying to figure out if it's nature or nurture that sets them apart from...

No thanks. Don’t like this idea at all. What’s wrong with a bit of dissent? Football can't be totally sanitised. If I was a ref, I'd be sending 2 a game off. Ignore their competence, would you do that job for the grief the get. Also, all of the tactical fouls that stop break aways will now get a ha...
