Yes, he is a decent manager and that's why some on here resort to calling him "fatty Evans".ContrifibulatoryFred wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 11:55 pm Why can’t we stop obsessing about Steve Evans?
Maybe we should just admit, however unpalatable it might feel, that Evans is a half way decent manager?

Re: Did Pep Fail this season
True, he changed it and in the process at City, he's won everything.
At the same time he's bored most of us sh--less with the brand of football.

Re: Rooney to speak to Plymouth over managerial vacancy
Did very well at Plymouth; DC United was a bit of a bucket case and he never achieved anything there. Birmingham was a bad move and he should have had the sense to see that. Plymouth will be a tough gig - they were sinking like a stone the second half of last season. So what makes him do it? He doe...

Not comfortable with this. Would have preferred his "second chance" to be at another club. Northern hard men CBs are ten a penny at this level. Also, Happe will stay because there just isn't enough in him for another club to take him. Personally I think we want a better than a ten a penny...

I'm surprised at that Comeon...I couldn't be more opposite. I find the watch boring and predictable and with the outcome of the match also predictable. Time for a change.

No surprise for me. Odds of around 12-14/1 sounds about right. Let's hope that Wellens can prove them wrong.come the end of the season.

Jack Nolan of Accrington, I've just read, is being mentioned Where? Could certainly do a lot worse....good record last season and about the right age we are looking for now. It just came up on my Google feed. The article was talking about how well we did with the signing of Galbraith and that we co...

Re: Travis interview
Seems to be happening more often. If we're to keep progressing, then the next set of challenges for the Club are an order or magnitude greater than what's happened over the last 7 seasons, because they require the significant expansion of our fanbase, and a whole new infrastructure. That's going to...

You make it sound like he's been dragging a ball and chain along breaking rocks in a quarry for his crimes. But I suppose the fact that he was a Brexiteer wouldn't endear himself to most on this board, anyway.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 8:14 pm The man is a twice convicted criminal.
