Re: Thames Water - the ugly reality of 'Privatisation'
Unfortunately, we are paying the price for Maggie Thatcher and her Nazi party boys not only did she destroy mining communities but she took away all the publicly owned utility companys and gave it to all the rich people we’re still paying for it. Best thing that woman ever did was to drop dead. Dis...

Re: Newcastle
The way a lot of their - up til then usually brilliant - fans have either turned a blind eye to, or gone on the defensive about, their owners' antics leaves a sour taste in the mouth but they've waited a long old while and it's still good to see someone other than City, Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal or Liv...

Questions are being asked as to why Man Caves’ are so popular in recent years , some theories that some wives should look at their behaviour these days. Elaborate potting sheds, where many a porn stash ‘Top Shelf’ material, could be found in days gone by.

Re: Russia / Ukraine Watch
RD batting for a man who is selling Europe (which includes the country RD actually lives in and is from) down the river never fails to be baffle me. You are jumping the gun nothing has been decided yet. They are only preliminary talks. There cannot be any peace still without Ukraine. Everybody know...

Re: Takeover
There is plenty of undeveloped land in that area. I can't see why they would remove part of the Olympic legacy when there are alternatives available. Where is this undeveloped land? You are talking rubbish. What area? The massive amount of carparking space around the stadium is much easier, less ex...

Re: Knotts Green
Knotts Green . They demolished the flats in 1980s. Built low rise there to replace. Earlier, late 60’s put new water main deep below the green , deep access drop down a ladder . There is an access cover in the green and occasionally people disappear down there to work deep below. At the same time th...

Re: Takeover
My uninformed guess would be a deal with the Hockey Association to build a new stadium at Eton Manor. There already a small stadium there plus tennis courts and lots of parking. Add in pedestrian underpass below the railway into Asda Car Park and you have a 5 to 7 min walk from Tube to Stadium. The...

Re: Takeover
We already have somewhere for a Helicopter to land & take off. It's the big green thing between the 4 sides, like when the Helicopter took off from the pitch the night the Leicester owner died The helicopter involved in that crash didn’t take off from the Breyer Stadium. I don’t think that kind...

Re: Takeover
Any location other than Brisbane road isn't what we want. However Hearn fooked that up. LBWF have identified 3 sites & I'll personally be happy with any of them. These days it will have to have a place for helicopters to land I am told for various reasons. I cannot think of any land in the boro...

Re: Takeover
The council won't have much land to give, it probably wouldn't be in a location we'd want, and even if it was, every local authority is looking to maximize income at the moment. That won't happen. What they might have done is informally given a green light to a site identified for housing to be use...

I see the Hearn family came out to play. No doubt a freebie. Swanning upstairs in th posh seats. Awful family. Only turns up when it is a biggie I cannot stand him at all or his family. There was a time when I respected BH but no more, he stripped the club, lingers around like a nuisance Landlord. ...

I have a pallet for this good news. Bridged a gap. We have have had a toothless approach this season. I have had it upto my back teeth until this announcement . Hopefully they put up a plaque up to honour whoever made this appointment possible. Hopefully now the goal will be open wide for a new Stri...

Re: Play Offs
78 points should do it. 60 points required from 29 games. 2.07 points per game but assuming we win our next 6 then a far more manageable 1.83 for the 2nd half of the season. Barring injuries on our way to the EFL Trophy and 6th round of the FA Cup I’m feeling fairly confident. Up the Os! 2.037 requ...

Who would have thought that Wallace was a wrongun’! Not me, I was at a social event once. He cannot ‘read a room’. Made some very racist remarks in front of an Irish mate who was married to an Asian woman. Nobody reacted , it was embarrassing, he walked away. What did he actually say? Not the “Me s...

I’m surprised at that. You’d have thought it would have been more difficult to pull the trigger without opposable digits. Suicide is not a subject for levity. I hope you never have to experience it in your family. I’m from east London working class stock. No farmers in my lineage. I’m from Leyton. ...
