I can vouch for Laurence. Luckily I’m a season ticket holder and a supporter since 1968/69 so I have my usual seat in the South for the City game. It’s a shame when the real supporters miss out. Tiverton away when the wall collapsed must count as a badge of honour. If anything crops up please send him a message.

What makes a non-season ticket holder more of a “real” supporter than a season ticket holder?

Of course Season Ticket holders deserve their seat on Saturday. But someone who this season has done Wigan away and Boreham Wood away as well as a bucket load of home matches is, in my opinion, equally deserving of a ticket for Saturday. I’m sure there are many other genuine supporters who are in the same boat. But no harm in asking just in case.

Did you even make the long, arduous trek to Boreham Wood? No, so shut up.

Not going to disclose which one, but one of the North Stand scanners never works this season - always just get waved through after a few half hearted attempts to bleep my season card. Could be worth a try?

(I have wondered if this will affect my 'record' for any 100% attendance awards at the end of the season but will deal with that if necessary).

Caca's suggestion isn't that bad. Many years ago I pulled off a similar stunt and ended up mingling with the Arsenal team just after the league/cup double celebrations in Islington in 2001/02.

Just buy yourself this off Amazon:

Make sure you wear a shirt and tie so that you look supervisor-ish and can wave away anyone who tries to engage with you. And then just stroll around, occasionally pretending to talk into one of your kid's toy walkie-talkies every so often.

Is there any chance you can hijack the halftime delivery - Bond style kibosh the rider and stick their helmet on, no-one will ever know - and at least catch the second half?
