So, would you just leave someone to die in the street?

Stop listening to the BBC and do your own research.

Look at the hospitalisations now vs when we had similar number of cases in the previous wave. The vaccine works and it'll be a ban for you if you post anymore fake news on this topic.
Not fake news, the following is from the uk government website.
https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/healthcare
You obviously have a problem when someone produces the facts that you don’t like.
I think as a moderator you should grow up and look at the evidence on Governments own site.
You should either ban any threads on this subject if you don’t want it discussed, but when people start sprouting nonsense which contradicts their own government’s findings then its only right to challenge it.

I hate lockdowns, I hate Covid , but you can’t argue against the effects in bringing deaths and hospitalisation’s down of the vaccine. If you are old , vulnerable and especially obese and you refuse to have the vaccine , you get what you deserve.

And you are still a bellend. I won’t visit you in hospital and don’t bother taking up a bed . There are many things wrong with the handling of this pandemic. The vaccination program isn’t one of them. You post sh*t about most topics .

Clicked on your links and not sure you know how to interpret a graph. Turn it the right way up. Spend a little more time listening at primary school on Monday and you may learn something.

So the government’s own figures which show more people in hospital than this time last year is a success?
If the vaccination programme was so successful we would have opened up fully by now.
It is clear the Government has not got any confidence in the vaccine and the hospitalisations are going to hit 400 by mid August.
Incidentally, 47% of hospitalisations are people who have been double jabbed.

47% of people with Covid have been jabbed because there are more people in the Uk jabbed than not. Therefore more Jabbed people will have Covid than unjabbed people because they outnumber unjabbed people. But we were told quite clearly that the jab does not stop you being infected with Covid. It is less likely that you will , it is less likely that you will become seriously ill , it is less likely that you will be hospitalised, and less likely that you will die.

And with every post you are making yourself look more stupid. I really don’t care if you believe what you are told or not. You are right to question it and it is your right not to have the jab. But don’t go knocking on the hospital door if you become seriously ill. For your sake , I hope you don’t

What a gullible fool you are.
COVID hospital cases 14 July 2020. 2195
COVID hospital cases. 14. July. 2021. 3231.
It is quite clear by the above figures that the vaccine is useless.
No great surprise as it takes years of research.
This is so terribly basic, have you thought about this at all? Look at the cases for both of the above dates and i think you will realise who is the fool.

A year ago daily cases were in 3 figures, today its 5 figures.

Earlier this year COVID hospital cases peaked at about 32000, well above today's numbers, it then came down due to the vaccine. Numbers are going back up, not due to vaccine failure, but due to opening up and the general apathy of some to care any more.

Chance of up to 200k cases a day 👀

Despite being in close contact with the health secretary, the PM and chancellor won’t have to self isolate apparently as they are taking part in a brand new pilot scheme that sees testing replace isolation. Oh how ******** convenient for them.... taking the **** in broad daylight now..

We are top of the World ratings for new daily cases already. The huge gamble on vaccination protection accelerates rapidly even before we relax the rules tomorrow.

Clearly, vaccinations do work but how will this exposure to the virus affect the population as a whole? How many will die as a result of this approach? How many people will suffer for prolonged periods with long covid. Oh well, time will tell.

Apparently the government that loves a backtrack have done exactly that, very swiftly, after criticism. Still tried it though.

Utter chancers who treat the public with total contempt.

As I’ve always said, the worst possible government at the worst possible time. Was never going to end well....

think the government’s approach is correct.

It’s time for personal responsibility now. We need to make choices about our lives and get on with them. In my opinion, it’ll get hairy but we’ll most likely be ok as we won’t nearly get back to pre pandemic levels of mixing for some time. The case numbers are scary and that’ll keep a lot of people a lot more cautious which may actually help our cause.

Finally, I can’t for the world of me understand why we aren’t doing more to encourage vaccination take up and make the availability of vaccines far easier to access. Put them in every pharmacy up and down the country. We should be going door to door in low take up communities and offering jabs. This is our only way out of it, and I’m not a fan of domestic vaccine passports but the government must literally not leave a stone unturned with this rollout.
