I’d be very surprised if they sign anyone until the last week of the window. They save on wages and they’ve had no income for some weeks. I suspect that Ling is trailing the A&E departments right now

As somebody else has already mentioned if we wait until the last minute we could end up with the dregs . Also we’ll be playing league games against teams that have already strengthened.

Isolation and testing positive could be a factor. The players we're after could be infected etc. However, unusual for there not to be any rumours.

I find it incredible an emergency loan (RB), even if only for 1 or 2 months, has still not been signed!
A RB should have been top priority & signed in first few days of window being open

Totally agree, unfortunately this clearly doesn’t make sense to those making the decisions.

really hope we pull 3/4 signings or so out of a magic hat, but the lack of news is worrying. As it stands, with Omotoye gone, the squad is even weaker.

Ling has always been really slow off the mark. Its frustrating as hell, especially that we have re arranged games, and the squad is lightweight

That’s a worry for sure so I’m not quite sure why we are waiting when reinforcements are needed now.
