They're called prisoners. How they have been detained may be immoral and/or illegal, but they are still technically prisoners. Hostages are people who are kidnapped and held as security for the fulfilment of a condition (i.e. a ransom or exchange of prisoners).
It's okay to be critical of Israel's detainment of Palestinian prisoners whilst not falling into the trap of trying to draw moral equivalent with Hamas abducting civilians, such as a two-year old child, at gun point.
so the children & women taken by force by Israel & incarcerated without trial are prisoners aren't hostages ?

They are if they're taken hostage/incarcerated by the good guys.

Well you mentioned moral equivalency and then talked of a child of 2 being taken by Hamas. I’m just pointing out that it’s not only Hamas that takes children prisoner.

To me the taking of Children after violent attacks
And incarcerating them is the same be they Palestinian
Or Israeli, taken by Israeli or Palestinian .
Just wonder why one is a hostage &

Thank you. As anyone can see, both sides have taken prisoners but one side has a much longer history of doing so.

Hasn’t that always been the case though? The French Resistance were viewed as heroes by the French and simultaneously as terrorists by the Nazis. See also the IRA.

Yes he was taken hostage by R.S.A labelled as a Terrorist. Some jumped up reason like being a Black Human Being wanting equality to White Human Beings. Funny Royal South Africa was only rejected in 1994, 3 years after aparthied ended.

If any other country in the world was to do what Israel is doing to the civilians in Gaza, they'd be uproar from the rest of the world............but not when Israel does it for reasons i just cant fathom.
By the end of this, 50,000 ( at least), will have been murdered by the Zionist psychopaths, and still not a single word of criticism will be allowed.
