What team do you support? There is just no satisfying you and do you really think your comments encourages ‘our’ club.

Re: Today we saw a proper manager.
Presumably the highlights won’t show the amount of crosses he flapped at. Their defence looked petrified every time we had a corner. Can’t see him lasting long with Holloway if that’s how he plays.
One decent save with his feet from a header in the second half though, to give him his dues.

No other way to say it Embleton is not a manager! The guy doesn’t know where to play his players.
Had we had Holloway we would have won easily.

Hector was on a booking and I reckon that’s why he was subbed.
TBF Clay did liven things up with his 20 minute cameo.

Re: Today we saw a proper manager.
What I saw today was every Orient player putting in a good shift for their new manager . Yes , I wanted a more experienced manager but going by the effort shown today by the players I'm happy Ross is our manager . It's clear to me they all want to play for him and that's really what counts . I only hope he chooses wisely in the transfer market and get's his tactics right to get the best out of them .

Re: Today we saw a proper manager.
I don’t know about Holloway being a proper manager, but he wasn’t constantly in the 4th officials face moaning about decisions that he can’t affect.
Holloway was doing what Ross should have been doing and watching what was going on on the pitch.
Our new head coach spent soooooo much time moaning at the 4th official WTF does he think is gonna change by constantly getting in his face.

Re: Today we saw a proper manager.
Today I was stitched up by Lloyd Griffith, Ex Soccer AM presenter, and ended up having to stand in the Grimsby stand! It was nigh on impossible to contain myself when we equalised.
Thought it interesting to share some people’s conversations I heard around me.
- They thought we had the better chances.
* Angol missing sitter first half.
* Chance cleared off the line first half.
* Very good save by their ‘Keeper at his feet second half
*JMDs crossing in the second half was some of the best they’ve seen this season and couldn’t believe how we didn’t score with the quality he put in.
* In the second half they felt we got to the majority of second balls in midfield.
* They felt a draw was ‘fairish’ but slightly unlucky for Orient.
Just an interesting observation, I thought.

Re: Today we saw a proper manager.
You seem a very angry man. We had two shots on target all game and their keeper flapped at everything.Lucky7 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 8:10 pmSaved 2 off the line yeah he was awfulRedO wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 8:08 pmHas he said that?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 7:56 pm
According to Holloway Orient deserved to win, pal.
We were just about the better side, and losing would have been a travesty, but a draw was a fairies result. Their keeper was a proper flapper but can’t remember him having many saves to make.

Thanks for posting that Horient ,it was interesting . I agree with them about JMD crossing in the second half . It's disappointing we couldn't score from any of them .Horient wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 8:55 pm Today I was stitched up by Lloyd Griffith, Ex Soccer AM presenter, and ended up having to stand in the Grimsby stand! Re: Today we saw a proper manager.
You make two good points in this thread. Whilst Brophy ended up costing us the goal your are spot on that not one person showed for the ball, no one wanted it.
Secondly Wright must have the face that fits cos the Bradford fans are correct he is useless. He just runs around doing nothing. Today he made one forward pass and he put it straight out of play. Hector should have stayed on for the reasons you gave, wright should have been hooked, but no a young kid ain't gonna question the manager like a senior pro will. Poor decision I'm afraid.

I think that Hector was hooked because he was on a Yellow card, but I agree , Wright needs a boot up the arse as he was fairly anonymous today again.Thor wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 9:35 pmYou make two good points in this thread. Until the Ginger P... came on.
He started to worry from the 1st Header Matt H won.
That allowed everything Grimsby had set up in defence to finally be pulled apart
Rather than them sitting square in front of the goal.
