Thought Grimsby were poor. Two lower middle table sides really. He's at least livened the club up for them.

I'm assuming you're alluding Ross isn't proper.

How did the proper manager get on?

Yes, this is the worry really. There wasn't much out there to beat today, but we scrambled a point, at home, with an injury time penalty.

We were the better side first half, without creating much. But given our midfield, that’s to be expected.

Holloway tinkered with it at half time and we couldn’t get near them second.

Embleton then takes our best midfielder off, resulting in us going 1-0 down.

Well then it’s down to Ross to bring in one or two decent quality players during this January transfer window

Tbf it sounds more like an error from Brophy and Sargeant's poor anticipation that resulted in us going 1-0 down.

Yeah he's talking nonsense. Clay coming on for Kyprianou improved our performance. It was a mistake against the run of play from Brophy.

Yes, they’re the easy targets.

Brophy went on the run because no one made themselves available. That’s because Hector had been taken off, who had been constantly showing for the ball, something we never normally have.

Both Happe and Coulson should have questions asked of them as well. Straight forward ball down the middle undone them.

Clay done ok, no question, never seen him have so much of the ball. If he’d been playing like that he wouldn’t have been dropped.

But taking Hector off was the wrong decision.

Has he said that?

We were just about the better side, and losing would have been a travesty, but a draw was a fairies result. Their keeper was a proper flapper but can’t remember him having many saves to make.

He was the best of the 3, IMO. Wright was even more anonymous than normal. How he stayed on over Hector, and even Marsh, is baffling.
