He’s the only player to leave in recent years to improve. Imm not a fan of re-signing players but he would improve this squad.

Why don’t people on the board accept that there’s no way he’ll be joining the O’s!

Its unlikely but its nowhere near impossible. The club’s wage structure is most prohibative.

It won’t happen! Even if we get promoted most clubs in the championship would hold much more appeal and be in a position to pay much higher wages!

It's worse than that - some people are idiots and don't think he's good enough!

How have you read this thread and taken everyone thinks he’s coming back?

Managed to protect a 4-0 lead into a 4-5 loss in the playoffs last season
Pratley had him in his pocket in the most recent game against Peterborough
Peterborough finished (checks notes) 18th with a relegation scare and Kyprianou wasn't exactly popular with their fans with his performance levels for much of the season from what I saw on socials

Yes they won the plastic trophy but frankly who cares about that waste of space competition?

Best thing that happened when we were in League 2 was Peterborough taking him off our hands and freeing up the space that El Miz made his own. Both him and Ebou Adams are streets ahead in the ex-Orient CM stakes

I'd happily take El Miz and/or Ebou as well as/instead of too. More than 1 player can be good.

(Although El Miz can't even make the bench at Oxford now, and Adams almost got Derby relegated this season, if we're continuing in the same vein).

But they're all different players with different strengths.

He's not good enough for us though so how can this be true?

Bonkers that people on here thought we were above signing him based on his performances as a green youth team product 3 seasons ago.

He is said to be signing for Watford on free transfer - over 24 and out of contract

Wonder how much Hector will be on?
In this report, Imran Louza is thought to be on £32,500 a week & Hector is expected to bring out the best in him
£20k-£25k/week for Hector?
Championship sounds like a different world to L1

Usually operating as more of a defensive midfielder, Kyprianou will more-than bolster the options in the middle of the park for new manager Pezzolano, and it could help to bring the best out of Imran Louza too.

The Moroccan playmaker was operating deeper in midfield for most of 2024-25 under Cleverley, but perhaps in a midfield three with Kyprianou and Pierre Dwomoh next season, Louza can be the focal point and the man that makes things tick in the final third.

That is however if Louza remains at Vicarage Road - Capology estimates that he is earning around £32,500 a week so is a top earner, and there may be interested parties across Europe, given his class and experience.
Should he stay though, expect Kyprianou to help bring the best out of Louza.

That was 2 seasons ago, Oxford beat him last season
