Congratulations on making the playoffs & good luck. Always found Leyton Orient to have one of the classier fan bases. You deserve it.

P.S. Please can we have Ling & Wellens?
Yes, in exchange for your stadium, which I have always loved. I’ll bring my own spanner and hand-cart.
The McAlpine would be even better if they'd bothered filling the corners in. Helluva wind whips in at times.
Maybe he wants Lingy to plug one of the gaps?

Barring injuries on our way to the EFL Trophy and 6th round of the FA Cup I’m feeling fairly confident. Up the Os!

78 points will definitely do it....

We beat Wrexham.

I did. Look how big a lead you have over Reading. Your GD is +8 Vs theirs. They might (probably will!) beat Barnsley but they won't win by 9+.

I'm taking it for granted that we'll roll over and you'll win comfortably. Our club is a mess and most of our squad downed tools weeks ago.

Lol. Yep. Standard football supporters. The number of times we've been told we just had to turn up to beat them and we've become Charity FC. We've had other sides roll over for us as well though TBF.

I'll rephrase: If we play against you like we have been doing up to now, you won't have had an easier game all season. We're genuinely terrible.

Huge changes have been promised this summer on the back of how dire we've been. Many of our players gave up when we still had a lot to play for. Like I said, the club is a toxic mess.

If it's not a walk in the park for you I'll be very surprised.

You're just playing the two way win situation. We come away with 3 points, you say, 'I told you so - win. We get beaten, you're now happy - win.

I remember when you won the league and played your last game down at ours. It may have been Booth's last game? Anyway not only did you annihilate us (about 4-1) but you sang the whole day. Worthy winners back then. Hopefully you find your mojo in the coming seasons - and I'd appreciate it if you'd put out deck chairs for your players this Saturday. We are historically not good at making things easy.

Apologies if asked elsewhere, but what are your - and Hudds fans more broadly - thoughts on Koroma?

I honestly don't really care about the result. Can't go up or down. Hopefully most of the players will be leaving this summer so even momentum isn't really a thing. Just want this season to be over and for the rot to stop soon.

Got a slight soft spot for both yourselves and Reading (both sets of fans really decent). Shame you can't both make it to the playoffs.

Out of contract this summer and probably won't be renewed. In his case it's a shame in a way because on his day he's excellent, but we need a reset. After consistent decline (6 years from the last 7 we've been awful and this is the worst yet) a massive clear out is needed and that will probably mean losing some players who will doubtless go on to do well elsewhere.

Divides opinion and he's a very streaky player - he'll be great for a while, then terrible for a while. If he got some consistency to his game (and trusted his left foot a bit more!) he'd be a shoo in for regular first team football in the Championship in any of the forward roles.

Can be a bit predictable (cut in from the left, shoot with his right into the far corner) and defenders get wise to that. Sadly the more frustrated he gets, the more he tends to rely on the one thing defenders are most ready for.

We are unlikely to renew his vontract and we'd be right not to. Like I said, we need a huge clear out and reset. But I would not be at all surprised to see him have a great season elsewhere in 25/26.

I'll wish him well.

We didn't win the league that year. Haven't won any league since the 4th division title in 1980. Not even managed an automatic promotion since 1983! All our promotions since then have been via playoffs.

But Boothy's last ever game was against your lot. Finished 1-1, and you guys gave him a great reception when he scored against you (hence the name I chose for this forum and part of the reason for my soft spot for your club).

Just been announced that another club legend (& one of the few not to have ever downed tools) will be playing his last ever game for the club on Saturday. Jonathan Hogg - 12 years with the club, represented us in 3 divisions.

Must be something about Leyton Orient that our club legends finish vs yourselves.

From not really caring about the result I now do - just so that he can end his career with a win. I just hope his team-mates can be bothered to turn up this time.

Once the seasons over, can we have Josh K back so he can play Championship football again?

I was at that game & remember that Booth was substituted so he could get a good send off. We all applauded him in the West Stand ( where the players tunnel is) & he applauded us back. It was a nice moment & showed appreciation for a good pro at his last game.
