I wonder what his next move will be, and if he'll get into party politics? He's a rarity on the left - Someone who isn't a complete f*ckwit and can articulate sensible arguments when being pressured by gobsh*te journalists. Imagine him on a debate panel with all of the other party leaders.

Spoke to him in the Gunnersbury pub before the Brentford game. Seemed a genuinely nice person, I even let him off for supporting Brentford. He asked me about my job, and when I told him I'm a union rep in my job, he gave me a lot of encouragement and advice. Not many working class people in a position of power, and he will be missed. The right wing press have been on his back just like they did with Jimmy Knapp, Bob Crow and Mick Cash. The new person will unfortunately get the same treatment.

From what I know of Dempsey it strikes me that he is cut from the same cloth as Mick and will prove to be an excellent leader.

I've heard he's a very strong leader.. I hope so as those poor underpaid and overworked tube drivers need all the support they can get.

Look forward to reading how Eddie lives in a council house even though he's a highly paid Union Baron, or how he lives in a big expensive house even though he's supposed to stand up for the working man, or how he loves Russia and Putin (but not the way Trump does), or how he hates Britain and wants to grind the country to a halt.
