‘See out his contract’ and ‘no intention of leaving’ are completely different

Anyway, looking forward to the hastily arranged interview with Richie at 2pm this afternoon where he has to clarify what he said. Again.

Who cares anyway... if he stays he stays, if he goes he goes.

Asking who cares about whether the manager of Leyton Orient football club stays or goes on a Leyton Orient football club forum seems a bit of an odd question.

It's not a question. It's just my all round feelings about the clubs direction at the moment. And that seems to be, owing to one thing and another, a dead end.

I just read 3 pages of drivel and counter drivel. On top of that there was conjecture and the usual conspiracies wound round the drivel.

I've only just listened to NT giving us an update from Finland and I have to say I do feel slightly encouraged by it. I've always had a lot of time for Mr Travis and I don't think we could wish for a better straight talking and genuine person as our owner. However, his seemingly friendly relationship with the man that ruined our ground at Brisbane road left me with a bit of a nasty taste in my mouth.

So what was discussed for the rest of the evening after the 30 seconds or so relating to RW's contract?

- anything about what he thought of recruitment process this summer?
- thoughts on the loan goalkeeper situation?
- view on lack of striker options and plans for January?
- thoughts on the form of Perkins, DJ, Warrington, Graham etc?

Richie chose DJ & Warrington so down to him. No doubt ML was behind Perkins. Richie knew the budget

Did Richie choose them or was it a case of there being no other choice options made available, so take it or leave it ?

Richie spoke about DJ when he signed. He was his manager at Swindon. Also he saw Warrington when watching his son at Man U. These are down to RW
