I think he was still technically employed by the club at that point. If I cared enough about him (which I don’t) I’d go back and look but I’m pretty sure he was binned right after that game.

Set pieces were noticeably worse during his stint here. I’m convinced that RW was seriously p*ssed off with the appointment. I mean, you would be wouldn’t you? There’s absolutely no way Wellens said to Lingy “you know what I’d really like? A set piece coach. And your mate Daryl is the only man for the job”

But you can’t underestimate the negative impact dropping the DoFs mate into an established, successful team would have had.
