Who knows, we might have somebody better already lined up . Richie said a couple of players should be coming in so let’s wait and see who we get.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 18, 2023 10:40 amThere you have it, so we can’t compete with Carlislewould have been a great addition. Sums it up really

Read today that he has already been signed by Carlisle and is training with them. He will be available to play on Jan 1st.The club have paid a fee that is a lot less than what Wrexham agreed in August

I thought players couldn't sign for another club before the transfer window opens . ?moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 8:00 am Read today that he has already been signed by Carlisle and is training with them. Lots of people are watching a couple of the Aldershot boys with a lot of interest. Their manager is doing an incredible job.

You can sign a pre contract agreement that ties you to your new club but he can't play until January.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 11:36 amI thought players couldn't sign for another club before the transfer window opens . ?moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 8:00 am Read today that he has already been signed by Carlisle and is training with them. Re: Luke Armstrong
Carlisle are banking on Armstrong being able to score enough goals to keep them up.
That's risky
If love to know what he cost them
He's pretty much untried at league 1 level
Good luck to them

Carlisle have new owners who are willing to spend big in the transfer window. According to their manager Paul Simpson he wants 5-6 players to keep them up.

Re: Luke Armstrong
This is the thing to keep in mind when certain elements of the fan base think we'll "be fine" leaving the squad as-is. We need those two attacking players already mentioned to be quality plus any changes that come about as a result of players heading out the other directionmoonwalk19 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 8:50 am Carlisle have new owners who are willing to spend big in the transfer window.
