Last season, I enjoyed the subtlety of Sadlier but he could be lightweight and a bit of a luxury. I thought Graham was superb in that role taking on defenders, playing crisp one-two passes and looking like he’d been with the squad for months rather than just a couple of weeks.

And for those who say he’s one-footed – true he favours his left but the volley that set up Shaq’s goal was a beauty with his right foot followed up by the left foot back across the box that led to the goal. I thought he was superb as were all of the players yesterday – not often they all play well at the same time. Really looking forward to Stevenage
The whole team played very well yesterday, and yes, Graham certainly gets a 'shout out' from me. I liked very much how he held the ball and then quite easily side stepped his marker and put in decent crosses. Yes, I was impressed and with Archibald out wide on the other flank makes it very interesting for us going forward...

Incidentally ‘ Nessy’ , how did you find the offering in the restaurant, is it worth the big price hike ??
Better than the usual service and fare, but not worth £70 a head, even with a programme thrown in. It's a nice touch to be greeted by with a glass of bubbly, beer or wine and escorted to our table and the size of the portions and menu choice were better than previous. However, the restaurant area was only about 60% full. I think Mr Devlin has to have another think about the price he is charging, there are not many millionaires in the Orient faithful.

But I won't have a word said against Lucy and her team, who were their usual friendly efficient selves. The regular waitresses and met & greet stewards were great IMO and always give us their best. Final comment, we'll go again.

We all saw promotion last season, but I'm not sure we saw a better team performance than yesterday.

Oh, how agree with Little Mate for that comment.

I wanted to say that I can't remember such a brilliant display by an Orient team than I saw yesterday.
Yes, there were fabulous performances by El Miz, Galbraith- what a find is this guy!- Theo- Brown and Sol , in goal plus Tom James and Ed Turns and if I've left anyone out- I didn't mean to. The whole team to a man were excellent.
Had a great afternoon , so thank you , Richie and my wonderful Orient

I think the last time we dominated a team like that was last season against Hartlepool . Apart from that yesterday was the best team performance I've seen in years .

They just couldn’t handle our flowing attacking interplay,
too many attacking threats it. It confused the opposition.

Would love to know who Ross Embleton was scouting.

Thanks for the reply ‘Nessy’
Totally agree re your comments about Lucy and her team, they are such a hard working and friendly bunch and a credit to the club. As for the hike in hospitality pricing, well if it raises funds for better players then great, but count me out I’m afraid.

He did, and I’m not questioning that. However, you can’t deny that a huge part of being a goalkeeper is having the confidence and self-assurance to command the defence in the way that Brynn can, and that can only come from the sort of experience that Howes just doesn’t have yet. Brynn was in total command of his patch today and that was a massive part in the pretty much spot-on performance today.
Apart from when he kicked it straight to their player

He’s a third division goalkeeper. You want perfection?

When you watch MOTD you often see Premiership standard keepers making mistakes . They are the best keepers but I don't think perfection exists .

You said total command. Which wasn’t true. Think brynn is gonna be really good for us. But if Howes made that pass people would have been on his back

Not a fan of Ruel, but he had one of his better games against Cambridge. Hopefully he can carry that form on the next few games

Yes, Ruel got in some excellent positions with his direct running and showed a few tricks and crucially worked really hard, and is always a goal threat. I still prefer Moncur in that position but Ruel is finding his feet at League One level, and I back him to do well this season.

Can't believe I'm saying this but Ruel deserves to start above George on current form.

George is undoubtedly the more talented footballer. But Ruel plays the 10 role differently, looking to run in behind the defence. He's also far, far better when off the ball with our press, and that is a massive part of how Richie wants us to play.

Yeah, that's fair.

But really rated his performances at Charlton, Blackpool and Cambridge (I wasn't at Wycombe).

All our players were on their game last Saturday . I'm hoping they can all carry that form on for the next few games
