I agree . We have to stay fully focused and give the Braintree game everything we've got .

Re: Exilds thread v Solihull Moors
A draw was fortunately all we needed today with Salford losing at home, we are almost there . Just a point needed against Braintree, obviously hope we win for it to be a great last home game of the season to remember.
I will unfortunately miss it and will be basking in the sun in Turkey but will either watch it on BT sport or listen on BBC sport.
Hopefully it will celebrations in the sun for me, for all those that are going I hope it is a great match and it will be League 2 next season.

Re: Exilds thread v Solihull Moors
Why should Fylde win the cup? Promoted fair enough, but this will be Orient’s only FA Trophy final so they better win it. Waited since 1978 for a Wembley final.Howling Mad Murdock wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 6:56 pm Grateful to Fylde.Bromley couldn't do it for us.Hope Fylde get promoted and win the cup.So long as we don't blow it.

There is always a doubt. No party till we actually do it.Anything can happen. We found that out at Bromley. No pressure on Braintree and I guess they will have something to prove in front of the cameras.

Re: Exilds thread v Solihull Moors
Correct me if I'm wrong (please) but, Braintree can actually avoid relegation if they beat us, can't they
If so, they will be under some pressure and will have a huge incentive to win.

Re: Exilds thread v Solihull Moors
Hi, Howlin,
I'd appreciate your help, please.
The table shows Braintree have 40 points. Therefore if they beat us they'll have 43. The table shows that that would take them above the drop zone. What am I missing here?

Yeah, it's not over until it's over . We must treat Braintree with the upmost respect . Must stay professional and finish the job on Saturday. I'm sure JE will drill that into the players during the week.Howling Mad Murdock wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 7:10 pmThere is always a doubt. No party till we actually do it.Anything can happen. We found that out at Bromley. No pressure on Braintree and I guess they will have something to prove in front of the cameras.

Nope. I hope Fylde go up (at the expense, in particular, of Salford & Solihull), but I want Orient to do the league & Trophy double.Howling Mad Murdock wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 6:56 pm Grateful to Fylde.Bromley couldn't do it for us.Hope Fylde get promoted and win the cup.So long as we don't blow it.

Yep, Braintree are on a roll. I'm sure they'd love to stick to the champions elect. While the maths are well in our favour, the opposition are, as someone said earlier, young, fit & hungry.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 7:29 pmYeah, it's not over until it's over . Re: Exilds thread v Solihull Moors
I truly didnt think Salford would ever lose another game, but finally they did. We are almost there now, but for 2 freak results on Saturday.
I hate this crap league so much, its wonderful to be finally on the cusp of leaving it

I knew I was right as when it was on Sky Sports I was recording the screen on my phone of the league positions and it showed the bottom 4 in red without enough winnable points to get out of it.

No prob I'm just awfully grateful that they have helped i`us.They didn't need to.ParisO wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 8:02 pmNope. Re: Exilds thread v Solihull Moors
Same here. I don't think Bromley had any intention of helping us! Fylde had a vested interest today, & it sounds like they held on despite massive Salford pressure.Howling Mad Murdock wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 8:20 pmNo prob I'm just awfully grateful that they have helped i`us.They didn't need to.ParisO wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 8:02 pmNope. It'd be great to be playing Fylde again in L2 next season

Don't think Baz realised the bottom 4 go down.

Re: Exilds thread v Solihull Moors
Cheers, chaps,
I was thinking that only three teams went down.
Many thanks for your help and patience.
I do agree that Braintree will want to go out with a bang, regardless.
