The midweek pandemic attendance would be relative to the weekend pandemic attendance. The point was the attendance would be lower midweek, pandemic or nottuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 5:31 pmBut we are not in NORMAL TIMES are we !RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 3:57 pmUsually, as in" normal times" .Yes ,midweek games usually attract a smaller crowd than Saturday's .

How does a fan get a refund on a used train ticket. maybe you should ask 1 of the refundees for advice .aylesburyos wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 5:59 pmHow did i save money? Cost me £18.40 & no pay for today. A fan could get a refund or rearranged ticket

Re: Cost of last minute postponement
Obviously some midweek games can attract more. Cup replays against big teams, play off games and important relegation games. But generally Bristol Rovers midweek would get less than the weekend game. Hopefully when we play them we will need 3 points for promotion and I will be proved wrong.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 5:50 pmsee !tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 2:32 pm2014 1999 2001 all 3 attracted bigger crowds.Winchesterfan wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 2:13 pm

But with so many people in london having to isolate due to omicron , that is not a guarantee is it.Story of O wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 6:11 pmObviously some midweek games can attract more. Re: Cost of last minute postponement
The EFL should really look into this and if found guilty of not informing Orient prior to the match day they should give the points to Orient. Last week the EFL stated that teams do not need to covid test on match day then if they tested the day before they should let Orient know. Also a Bristol fan tweeted and showed a picture of passing the team bus on the motorway. The manager in his interview on Friday said he had lots of injuries but did not state the covid situation. The whole thing stinks.

Absolutely. It’s not just our club that has suffered it is also both sets of fans. As one BR fan pointed out you can’t get a refund on a used train ticket. EFL just don’t think rules through and are totally incompetent. Had I been going to todays match, having checked that it was on, I would already have been on a train and unlikely to have found out about the postponement until arriving at Waterloo station.moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 7:09 pm The EFL should really look into this and if found guilty of not informing Orient prior to the match day they should give the points to Orient. Hardly gives you confidence in going to any match unless it is local.I don’t blame our club at all but every time I travel to Brisbane Road it costs me nearly double the cost of 1/23 of my Gallery Season ticket. Thus a postponed home match could cost me four times as much if I attended.
Will I renew my ST next year? Yes.
Will I attend so often ? No unless this postponement fiasco is sorted.

Re: Cost of last minute postponement
Just seen that one of our own set off from Sheffield at 10am today, only to find out at 10.15 that the game was off. 4.5 hours on New Year’s Day, wasted. I’d send the bill to BRFC.Winchesterfan wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 7:51 pmAbsolutely. It’s not just our club that has suffered it is also both sets of fans. Re: Cost of last minute postponement
Think I read on the BRFC website or the Bristol Post paper that the Rovers CEO is offering to ‘ Pay fans expenses ‘ for the late cancellation. It’s obviously referring to Rovers fans, but you never know, he may entertain a claim from our fans who are out of pocket.
