Re: Matchday thread v Stevenage
Decided to buy the stream on a whim. started from 15 mins so not sure what happened before.
Hard to work out who's playing where and in what system. At a guess I think its 4-1-1-3-1...
Tristan up top (has he touched the ball?) with Wilko behind him and kemp/freeman on the wings but narrow. Freeman looks absolute tosh btw.
Clay behind them and cisse behind him? (or alongside him).

Worried about Happe marking Norris. Had him on toast a couple of brief moments.

I don’t understand. This is basically the same sh*t as under Embleton, just a bit more defensive - Clay is holding alongside Cisse and Brophy isn’t getting forward.
I don’t get it.

Re: Matchday thread v Stevenage
66% possession. No shots on target. Sums up a very forgettable half.

Re: Matchday thread v Stevenage
We have had 2 shots so far and not a single one on target yet 68% possession. If Stevenage score and let’s be honest they look more likely too, we are doomed to another defeat. This lot couldn’t score in a brothel.

Re: Matchday thread v Stevenage
I do . Our players are not good enough to play in any other way . Either that or we really do need an experienced manager to get the best out of our squad .Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 7:53 pm I don’t understand. If hector is staying next year, he should be playing every minute of every game ahead of next year and give him a chance to prove himself and grow

Re: Matchday thread v Stevenage
This is so painful. What is the point of Freeman?
Why can't we just try two up front for once?

I did say in the prediction thread that I reckoned Jobi would go ultra cautious in order to ensure we didn't lose two on the trot.

We have about 6 wingers at the club and are playing a central midfielder and a central striker out wide. At least Kemp has looked vaguely sharp in the free role.

Awful. Clay Cisse and Freeman. The three stooges. Total comedy show.

Re: Matchday thread v Stevenage
What’s the point of a lot of these players??? Wilkinson is a complete waste of wages, and so is Cisse. This is as bad as our relegation season to conference. We look defeated before we even start the game.Eat The Rich wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 8:02 pm I did say in the prediction thread that I reckoned Jobi would go ultra cautious in order to ensure we didn't lose two on the trot.

The only real benefit of continuing to watch is if Vincelot comes on

Re: Matchday thread v Stevenage
Wilko is NL quality. He looks good until he actually has to produce something. The only time we looked like creating a chance in the first half, he did a weak pass straight to their playerFrogger wrote: ↑Tue Mar 09, 2021 8:06 pmWhat’s the point of a lot of these players??? Re: Matchday thread v Stevenage
That alone says it all, scared to play against Stevenage at home. Pathetic.
