It is all very well saying that feckless people shouldn't have kids and that there is no logical reason why kids should be hungry in the UK in this day and age; but they are and that is a fact. You can hardly blame kids under the age of 14 for being hungry can you? Should we all blame toddlers? I along with my siblings were on free school meals. In the holidays , we had to ‘make do’. It is part of being self sufficiency. Not having to expect help at every moment of crisis like the modern day Snowflake generation. Her kids had free school meals and she was embarrassed.
