I didn't express an opinion, I posted a statistic directly from the government's website. If you think that is "trolling" then I suspect you're massively over sensitivePoliticOs wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 3:28 pmWhy do you do this schtick? Is it worth it? It's obviously good trolling, but it's not funny. It doesn't say anything interesting. Been Googling have we......well so have I and 8% of all deaths in police custody were black. The black population is 3%....so almost 3 times as many black people died in police custody, than their numbers in the population merited

The irony of this coming from the most obvious alias I've ever seen on this board.
It's not my problem if you're offended by statistics but well done for publically announcing you're very thin skinned

Well, you are playing a character. But no one is enjoying it bar you and a merry band of dullards. I'm not even convinced you're enjoying it.
Yes, it's a logical conclusion I'm offended by statistics.

Most of them are the same ones that come out to every demo. It gives them a great feeling of well being. They believe they have a finger on the pulse of the people....... Then theres a vote and they find out they dont. They then get angry, read the guardian and attend more demos, then there is another vote and they lose again.

Equally you could say that the same people defending Cummings for breaking lockdown rules and putting lives at risk are now against the protestors gathering en masse and putting many lives at risks.Millennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 1:02 pm The same people who criticised Dominic Cummings for breaking lockdown rules and putting lives at risk now support the protesters gathering en masse and putting many lives at risk.

Funny how most of the people who dont even accept that there’s a problem are the same ones cap doffing they government.
There’s an education problem in the world right now but some people just refuse to open their eyes and ears.
It’s the same as the politicians who think lying to the public over and over again because somehow admitting their mistakes is a sign of weakness. Pretty pathetic and insecure.

Oh dear. You’ve really not got a handle on this at all, have you?EastDerehamO wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 12:50 pm The violence by the few and the non-social distancing by more than a few has the effect of turning many people against the protest. The result is that the cause gets diluted, the opposite of what the protestors were trying to achieve, but was sadly entirely predictable.
Black lives matter – of course they do, and the overwhelming majority of the population already agree. My simple instinct is that all lives matter equally, and that’s the education message which must continue to be given. I won’t support any group that focuses on colour for I see it as divisive, with looming overtones of an Orwellian society where some people are seen as more equal than others. And on that note I can’t help but wonder what the reaction would be if someone organised a ‘White Lives Matter’ march.

If the public feel that Boris and the government have made a Horlicks of the handling of the pandemic then it will be reflected at the next election.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 5:09 pmYeah like Boris back on 2 March telling everyone to go about there business as usual on the eve of a pandemic.Ornchurch wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 4:49 pmThe majority of people react to their own life experiences rather than doing as they are told to by others who believe they know best.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 4:36 pm

A slave trader's statue in Bristol has been torn down and thrown into the harbour during a second day of anti-racism protests across the UK.
Whilst I would not generally condone damaging property, this incident in Bristol is quite amusing.

Re: People Are Quick to Hijack A Protest
The sheer hypocrisy on here is staggering. Jean Charles da Silva e de Menezes an innocent unarmed Brazilian was blasted apart by UK police using hollow bullets. He was by no means white. Dusky would be the best description ( this was one of the reasons he was shot ). Unfortunately he didn't fit the right racial stereo type for mass protests. Most protesters at his death were Brazilian.
A good few of the Blacks killed in similar circumstances have been gangsters. The protesters make life a little more comfortable for the drug dealers for a while, so the police back off. PC Keith Blakelock was hacked to death whilst on duty. No whites rioted.
People protest, when it suits them. But remember, a lot of UK police don't have guns. They can be violent to Blacks. Racism can be everywhere from one ethnic group to another. The UK police have a great record compared to USA, France and almost everywhere else. I cannot see why there is hysteria towards the police in the UK right now in lockdown. It is potty.
