Re: Yeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss
If we could only keep Keeley and Donley for another season………………. but hey - when we win the final and are in the Championship that would give Spurs the next stage in their development. We can only hope

Overseas Login Problems
Trying to buy my overseas match pass the way I always have done. Now get a nonsense Captcha screen asking me to "click the image matching an object shown in the example image". What the hell does that mean? The example images all contain a dog and cockerel/rooster. The images below all con...

Re: MK Don's Highlights
We scored 3 goals, have now progressed past the group stage for the first time since the 2021/22 season, but apart from Perkins (who at least did a little jump after his goal), both DA and CK looked positively underwhelmed at having scored. They don't need to run around with their shirts off but sho...

Re: Exiles Thread.
Thought much of our football today was very slick - pretty to watch but ineffective in the final 1/3rd. Had Kelman scored the early goal it could easily have proved to be the winner. Big improvements in certain players - Tom James, Jamie Donley and Z Hemmings. Matched them all over the park. An enjo...

Re: HOW DID HEMMINGS PLAY
I think he did better than that Two good saves, at least two good catches from crosses/corners and thank goodness he didn't try the perceived wisdom of playing it out from the back, cocking up the pass and then being stranded while watching the other team score. A few clearances from dead ball and h...

Jamie Donley and the chimpanzee
A golfer took his chimpanzee with him to play golf. "I would like a round of golf for me and my chimp, please.” the man told the pro shop attendant. The club pro comes over and says, "Sorry - that chimp cannot play golf here.” "I bet you that he can play better than you and if so, we ...

Re: BBC Doctor Who branded 'woke' and 'unwatchable' as TV ratings plummet following return to screens.
As someone who has been watching Dr Who for enough years that I used to hide behind the sofa whenever the Cybermen came on, I actually think Ncuti Gatwa is already one of my favourite Doctors. Key is the chemistry between him and his sidekick and in this regard, I rate Millie Gibson highly too. Whic...

Re: Exiles thread
Thought Ruel had a great game today – much better ball control, a couple of good half chances and a lovely goal. Candidate for MOTM. George also had a much better game – his new orange boots obviously didn’t come with a reverse gear so he could only really go forward which he did to good effect. And...

Re: Re: South Stand Singing
I love the singing - especially when there's a good away crowd. My problem is that I sit in the West and I can't make out the words of the various songs and don't want to look like a numpty by asking a neighbour. Is there anywhere the words to the favourite regular songs are available?

Not sure what point you're trying to make here - posting a Biden statement about the latest Russian attack on Ulraine on the Israel thread. Are you suggesting that Israel and Russia are interchangeable? If so, please explain why we've been subjected to a barrage of pro-Palestinian protests since Oct...

Re: Ratings - Bristol Rovers (a)
As I started to type, this post was going to be tongue in cheek but now I think about it, I'm serious. Daryl McMahon is a nice guy I'm sure but as a set piece coach? Nah. With the odd exception, we are terrible (Tom J and Theo) at free kicks and corners. 90% of the time we are inacapable of even cle...

Re: 0% Alcohol Lagers
I discovered Bavaria by accident while on holiday in Tenerife. Was very pleasantly surprised and ice cold from the fridge is the way to go. Tried to find it when back in the UK and my regular supermarkets (Sainsbury and Waitrose) don't stock it. Wandered across to Tesco Barkingside and they don't st...

Re: Ratings
Agree with all the praise for official MOTM Galbraith but a bit disappointed to see the other man with two first names Jordan Graham not get a shout out. Last season, I enjoyed the subtlety of Sadlier but he could be lightweight and a bit of a luxury. I thought Graham was superb in that role taking ...

Someone I know well whose whole family have been Watford supporters for years has said that Watford are so stupid to let him go. This was due to be his breakthrough year and I am assured that Shaq will be absolutely brilliant for us and will get a hatful of goals. The doomsayers can moan if they wan...

I'm also pleased that Turns had a great game and is improving all the time - he had big boots to fill coming in for Happe who until his injury, was playing his best football for us. One thing I didn't like about Happe last season was the hoof ball and the way he consistently overhit attempted passes...

Spoke with him before the Wimbledon game and yes - it's a quad injury. Asked him when he thinks he'll be back and he said he should be OK for the Walsall game but what he says about being fit to play and what RW says about him being fit to play may be some distance apart. He sounded so frustrated at...

William Hill are still offering me £103.69 to cash out my £25 bet @ 4/1 that Orient would get promoted. I'm going to see it out and get my £125.

So where are we now?
So let’s see where we are Everyone thought we’d lose Smyth – we didn’t Everyone thought El Miz would be recalled in January – he wasn’t We basically have the same players who got us to the top of the league and have kept us there for weeks We’ve signed McCart who improves each game We signed Sadlier...

What are the odds?
At the beginning of the season, I placed a £25 bet at 4/1 odds with William Hill that Orient would get promoted. Potential winnings £100 (plus return of stake). Just had a quick look today and while we’ve only played 19 games, they’re offering to cash out my bet now for £91.10. Do they know something?
