So let’s see where we are

Everyone thought we’d lose Smyth – we didn’t

Everyone thought El Miz would be recalled in January – he wasn’t

We basically have the same players who got us to the top of the league and have kept us there for weeks

We’ve signed McCart who improves each game

We signed Sadlier who only arrived the day before the long journey to Tranmere and who didn’t even know who his teammates were until they’d been playing for 60 minutes

Moncur will get fitter and once again look value for money

Tom James will rediscover the form that made him the best full back in the division

Rather than continuing to thump balls in their general direction, Sadlier will play through balls to Kellman and Drinan and change the scraps they’ve been feeding off into meaty chunks.

Still 18 games to go – I can’t wait.
