Re: HOW DID HEMMINGS PLAY
I think he got the rub of the green today, with Stockports efforts being off target and what appeared to be a slight deflection onto the post.
The defenders in front of him were more to blame for the goal we conceded.

Re: HOW DID HEMMINGS PLAY
The threat of the spurs kid seems to have focused his mind. Didn’t have much to do thanks to our defence but was fine.
Re: HOW DID HEMMINGS PLAY
I think he did better than that
Two good saves, at least two good catches from crosses/corners and thank goodness he didn't try the perceived wisdom of playing it out from the back, cocking up the pass and then being stranded while watching the other team score.
A few clearances from dead ball and hand went straight into touch but most kicks had good length and I started to count these plus the last game he played (Reading) that most of his long hoofs went to Orient players.
If I was markling his report card, I'd say C+ satisfactory work and progress

Anyone know why the spurs kid wasn’t on the bench?Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 8:01 pm The threat of the spurs kid seems to have focused his mind. Didn’t have much to do thanks to our defence but was fine.

Mental. Thought it didn’t apply to keepers? Fair enough I guess as it’s unlikely we’d need him.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 8:29 pm5 loanee ruleRich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 8:27 pmAnyone know why the spurs kid wasn’t on the bench?Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 8:01 pm The threat of the spurs kid seems to have focused his mind.
