Project Fear is alive and well!
Up here, the Miners Strike 35 years ago is still the cause of bitterness and fights.
So as admin says, it's going to take a long tine

Even more predictable given my user name.....anything by The Smiths.....especially The Queen is Dead Album and the singles "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" and "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before"

...?anything. I'd be more than happy for the money I pay in tax to go to you if you needed it, though. It's so simplistic to say you should never spend more than you earn. Have you never heard of speculate to accumulate? How are you ever supposed to grow if you never leave the confines of a particu...

..... I think that richer people should support people who want to buy property they may not be able to afford. Great then, can you send me a few thousand pounds please as I would like to have what I can't afford That's why there is support for first time buyers, which comes indirectly from governm...

...... .... What I would like to see is more of the cash swilling around in the premiership pass down the leagues to help clubs become less reliant on owners cash. Isn't that communism for football clubs? What about clubs not spending more than they have coming in? There is no reason why Premiershi...

Re: New kids shirt sponsor - Talk Sport
Apart from the Murdoch argument - a totally different logo on the shirt changes the appearance so much that it stops looking like the shirts the players wear, which is surely the whole point. My kids don't want one with a talksport logo on it - they'd much rather have one without a sponsor. I know ...

Re: House Prices
House prices are dropping like a stone, because of brexit, and the threat of a no deal brexit. I forecast, 2 years ago, that if brexit happened, house prices would drop by as much as 20% in London. they are already 4 % down, and we havent even left yet. I also forecasted on the day of the referendu...

Re: Laurie Cunningham
Perhaps a controversial view, but I view his career as a waste of his undoubted brilliant skills. He never played 100 games at any club. Indeed only at Orient & West Brom did he play as many as 50 games. He seems to have for some reason been moved on often by managers. He was possibly the most t...

Has announced his retirement from football. He won virtually everything in the game in e...
