What incredibly astute consumer tip are you going to come out with today?

Re: 8 June - Brisbane Road

There’s a typo in point 17 of their T&Cs. You’d think a betting company would be sh*t on things like that. Amateurs. Wow, the phrase ‘too much time on your hands’ springs to mind Rev, if you have even bothered with this to, A) read the T&Cs, and B) spotted a typo in point 17. It didn’t take...

Re: Rotherham

Me neither but from the comments above it seems like only 1, so you’re wrong. If it is only 1 ex-Stevenage player then yes, I’m wrong on this occasion. My general statement that players tend to sign quicker for managers they have a good history with isn’t exactly controversial. Either way, I couldn...

Re: Rotherham

They also sign quickly for managers they have played for before (i.e. are guaranteed to be in the first team). I haven’t paid close attention to who Evans has signed but I would imagine many are former Stevenage players? So how many of those signed already have played for him before? No idea. I don...

Re: Rotherham

Steve Evans has now already made 5 signings He believes (as I do ) in getting your signings in quickly. Ling however believes in waiting late, which frustrates the you know what's out of me And to those r boarders who say Evans rushes it, and we get better by waiting, I disagree. Stevenage finished...

Despite our back and forth on this a while ago, I actually think you’re entirely correct on this issue, and your view is legitimate I can’t remember if I’ve said it or not, but my main objection to the whole thing is slightly less about Simpson as an individual (although I do think he’s a fanny) an...

Re: Jack Simpson

Long and short of it is the club can sign a guy who has done this if they believe it’s worth the damage to relations with the fans that take exception. The fans who take exception are under no obligation to get onboard if they feel that the club’s stance is wrong. The people who made these decision...

I’m sure everyone on this board has said something on the spur of the moment that they have regretted. Are the board racist because he’s been given a chance to redeem himself? Were Burnley really able to pay Vigs a salary much higher than a championship team where he would have had more of a chance of actually playing? It’s not like he went to Man City. Are Burnley really paying that much for their 3/4th choice GK? I find it hard to believe that there wasn’t an offer on t...

I guess you’ll engage with it if I was to take the mod to task? If you set up a separate thread to abuse them then I might have something to say. If you contain your abuse to within this thread then I am inclined to ignore it as I genuinely do not want to be involved in this particular discussion. ...

Interesting that they decided to pour their many millions into Braintree Town rather than their local club Coggeshall Town FC. What’s the story behind that?
