Here’s what he said:

Travelling home from Wembley & have to say I feel very let down & embarassed

No, not by the team. But by some of the fans.

Firstly most fans didn't even bother to stay to applaud the team as they got their medals, let alone being generous in defeat & applauding Fylde as they got the trophy. The Orient players did stay and applaud Fylde.

The abuse and slagging off of the Orient team on Wembley Way & on tubes is shocking.

The team did not play well today & were outfought by Fylde. That however is no reason for the vitriolic abuse about individual players.

Have some of these fans forgotten the same players won Orient automatic promotion 3 weeks ago?

Fans support their team, not abuse them after a defeat. Yes people are disappointed and yes some players made mistakes, but that is no excuse for abuse.

If any of the 3 chances that hit the woodwork went in, then things could have been so different today.

I must state the abuse was from a minority of fans. It's wrong to suggest otherwise

I did stay until they came down the stairs waiting on them having a bit of a walk around but then noticed that there was barely anybody behind the goal. The sight of £20k supporters from my seat in the gods was awesome and it was a fun day out but........the guy behind me who shouted out "where were you when we were sh*t" sort of had a point.
