I thought he came across well in that interview. I do hope he does well as he is a nice fella. Just always get the feeling he has been over promoted. We shall see.

As always......but is it likely to inspire anyone to believe that things are going to improve? I doubt it.

The more I hear him talk, the more intelligent I feel he is. I do hope he does well.

It’s good that he’s got over the dead leg from last week and is now only suffering with problems with tight hamstrings again.

If you’re going to lie, at least lie consistently.

Tuffers.
Nobody said no young people would suffer from Covid. It is less likely that’s all.
And without wanting to discuss the lads personal details , how do you know he is not in the vulnerable group.

Well said. The lad deserves compassion instead of being constantly belittled.

Good assessment of where we are. Honest enough to say we make things too easy for opponents, we do. Our passing is poor, very poor. And a lack of understanding between players is clear. Honest enough to admit its maybe the way we are set up! Wow. That is being honest.
This group have been together long enough now. Not full of newbies. Yet we still don’t know how to set up that best uses the skills we have. Really! We are definitely not getting the best from the players we have. They are better than what we see on the pitch. Of that I am sure. Too many below par league performances, like Dayton, Wright, JMD, Cisse. Only Jobi in that area doing anything positive. I’m so glad he signed as a player for another year. At 39 he puts these people to shame.
I have yet to see a league game where we could call ourselves a team. Odd decent moments at best.
And discipline on the field is a little lacking, I suspect players too are a tad frustrated.
So unless Ross and his multitude of coaches start getting their act together we are in for a low-end league position for the duration, hoping again that there are teams worse than us.

Said it on the other thread, but some weird phrasing from a manager to say that he's as much involved in decisions as anyone else...

For someone whose public speaking is usually just a load of dreary dissembling*, he is starting to make a few telling remarks. Could be the real Ross struggling to escape the pantomime of pretending to be a football manager.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 10:08 am Said it on the other thread, but some weird phrasing from a manager to say that he's as much involved in decisions as anyone else...

Tbh his public speaking has, in my opinion, improved massively. But I totally agree, some of his remarks are quite interesting.OyinbO wrote: ↑Wed Oct 14, 2020 10:14 amFor someone whose public speaking is usually just a load of dreary dissembling*, he is starting to make a few telling remarks. But it’s refreshing that he is not the politician, talking a lot yet saying nothing. Double edge sword, he tries to be honest and in doing so shows his shortcomings. I’m pleased he has a strong support network, he’s gonna need it.

Young people have unidentified unddrlying health issues .
The thing about getting Older is you normally find out.
Yet there are those that say only the old & vulnerable should be locked down .
Its like having the knowledge that every single human being as
the abillity to Get Cancer .
Anyway as I said previously , I hope the young lad recovers quickly &
His Family are also safe & well.
