Who's next to sign...any names?
Quite like the idea of Dalby coming back as the centre forward we need. Not sure of centre half but a good strong commanding type is what i would like to see. We are quite youthful at the back apart from Coulson and Turley who may struggle with game time due to injuries.

We badly need another centre half who could also fill in as a right back. Now Ruel has signed the question of another forward coming in May be taken off the table

I still think we need a big bustling guy up front so that the other forwards can play off him. We don’t have anyone like that now Harrold has retired.

Re: Who's next to sign...any names?
It probably wont be addressed this season but we need a proper right back not a centre half who can play there. The forward line is ok in quantity but lacks a certain type of forward we require like a target man, big and strong with hopefully goals in him. To bring him in we probably need to release either Angol or Wilkinson not Johnson who is different from those two as being a goal poacher.moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 11:24 am We badly need another centre half who could also fill in as a right back. We need a competent right back. Ling is terrible......he was poor in the National league, so a division up, is a step too far.
Judd is slightly better, but only slightly, and is injury prone, so a RB is essential IMO

Was thinking more of a "loan deal" type signing and normally the two clubs reach agreement over wages and i'm sure we could contribute towards the £3k championship wages.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 3:11 pmNot likely to happen really though is it .AckneyAwks wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 3:00 am Quite like the idea of Dalby coming back as the centre forward we need. That's why I would put Turley at RB and bring in a new first choice CB to partner HappeComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Aug 15, 2020 3:23 pm We need a competent right back. Ling is terrible......he was poor in the National league, so a division up, is a step too far.

Re: Who's next to sign...any names?
could be a good shout!!...you probably know more than me about him but is he more of a 2nd striker a bit like our current forwards. We probably need a target man for the balance of the team.

The boy is 6ft 3 has good feet looks a handful
Be the perfect type who could dominate in the air
But would offer a little more than Matty H as his obvious talents show in the video clip.
He's a Newham lad too.

Chuks Aneke looks great but is under contract to Charlton for another season. He must be on decent money. I can't Chuks dropping down to join us.

Hes a bit part player there
Charlton now league 1 & in major trouble financially .
Wouldnt take a lot to bring him here ,
Has played 2 seasons with Ouss Cisse .
Its a better option than a Dalby ( u-23 no league experience) for me hands down .
Even on a loan deal

Would be a great signing but I doubt it would happen. Bit like Akinde who we were after last season but he went to Gillingham.

I wouldnt disagree there.
All respect to AA & others , but
I get very tired of fans who just churn out names that have been here before.
Dalby really hasnt done anything in league football & i dont see why he would benefit the club.
No one he was with is really left here anymore , so let him find his place elsewhere.
Aneke is just an example of what could be brought in
