Top 4 Cheeses make it through to the knockout stages - you have 4 votes - make 'em count.
Recipes and serving suggestions / accompanying wines etc are more than welcome, but you may wish to save them for the knockout ties -(unless your personal fave is in danger of going out here)

Halloumi is the GOAT cheese

My favourite use of Halloumi is in a veggie mushroom burger.
Roast a large portobello type mushroom in foil with garlic, butter and any herb.
Meanwhile griddle or fry a chunky slice of Halloumi to place atop your juicy mushroom burger.
Assemble your burger as normal with usual condiments.
Also can use melting blue cheeses etc as well.

Machengo is also lovely as part of a tapas spread with accompany pickles etc.

I voted Cashel Blue as it rocks.
Kind of a veiny brie

Stilton lovely as part of a quick pasta dish melted down into the hot pasta with walnuts and rocket wilted through at the end. Dash of lemon juice.

Sounds lovely as is, but presumably you can slip in a nice beef burger patty into that stack as well.

Philly doing badly here - no one else loves a smoked salmon and philly bagel then? Madness.

Red Leicester is the Leicester of cheeses.
Only use would be cheese on toast or put into little squares with pineapple chunks on a cocktail stick.

Stilton smashing it and could be a dark horse.
Not a fan of Red Leicester but requested it for its wrecking ability, will take out a few worthy opponents before succumbing to one of the heavyweights

Red Leicester is literally the worst cheese on that list. And how come so few of you have voted for comté? Bloody savages.

Red Leicester beating Halloumi, regret suggesting it now
It's like when MPs put Corbyn on the ballot paper for a laugh
