While we're all making our minds up about Chocolate, Digby Chicken Ceasar suggested the next edition should be cheese, and I concur (despite disliking the stuff as a child, indeed it was only when I met Mrs Spike in my late 20s that I slowly came to enjoy the stuff - introduced with a lovely Brie on holiday near Montauban)

Digby has kindly supplied the first few suggestions - as below. As he says - it's type not brand that we're after. So which cheese do you think should lose in the Final to Cheddar?

We missed out Philadelphia too! - I'm using the brand cos it's synonymous with the type.

You can't just say Norwegian - like everyone else they have many different styles.

Norwegian Blue perhaps?

In my humble opinion, Oxford Isis is the best cheese from these fair isles (Collea being an honourable mention). Bit stinky tho.
