Caroline Flack RIP

Post by The Orient Hour »

Found dead at 40.
The media may well have pushed her over the edge. Very sad.

Massive shame. The same rags who hounded her and mocked her will be paying tribute to her today. People should just be nicer.

Social media and rags like the Sun own this.

ITV let her down big time.

Harry and Meghan done the sensible thing as they were being harassed too.

So sad for her family and friends. RIP

This is a very sad story

Here's the original thread from this website when Flack was originally accused of Domestic Violence

“Celebrities” are begging for “rags” like the sun to take photos as they leave a club at 2am or with their bangers out in Marbella. Can’t have it both ways.

Unbelievable tragedy. Everything going for her and she does that. Can’t imagine the state of mind she must have been in.

She was facing trial for domestic abuse/ABH and had lost her job as such

She chose to live the vacuous lifestyle of a z list celebrity chasing fame for games sake. She used media to her own ends and now she has paid the ultimate price of a vacuous lifestyle.

Also her allegedly smashing items over her boyfriend's head isnt something to help her.

Any death is sad, but the only person to blame is Caroline Flack

No one deserves to be driven so low that they kill themselves (I assume this is what happened).

Social media and general nastiness of society needs a look at as well.

Without social media, she wouldn't have been the celebrity she was.

It's a double edged sword. You can't complain about (social) media when you also court it you make you famous.

If she (& others) didn't court publicity, then they wouldn't get the same negatives from (social) media.

People need to be aware of the consequences of their actions

Why are you comparing too completely different things and simplifying the whole thing?

There’s a difference with courting the press and them driving you to kill yourself.

There’s also a difference between posting pictures of your holiday on social media to get likes and being called a fanny by thousands of people.

Very sad news. It always is when someone takes their own life.

Spen666 in being an asshole shocker.
Whatever else Caroline Flack was, she was someone who obviously got to where she was on merit. You cannot simply sweep away her presence on some phenomenally successful TV shows on the basis of her being a c list celebrity, still less demean her achievements as vacuous.

Sorry if truth hurts. She got where she was by use of (social) media. FFS she was famous for being on TV which is MEDIA.

There are down sides to courting the media. If you don't want to be exposed to the downsides, then dont court (social) media and use it to boost your profile.

They are millions of famous people who dont have the media intrude into their lives, because they dont court that sort of publicity.

You really are an obnoxious individual, she was no doubt someone's much loved daughter and others friend.
At least people noticed her unlike you who nobody has any interest in.
