Liverani's Lecce
3-2 win away to.Napoli
2 wins on the.bounce
A 4-0 thumping of Torino & yesterdays
Away win move them further away from the relegation zone
Lecces 3rd is something Matt Lockwood would have loved to have scored .

Re: Liverani's Lecce
There was always something about him. That's what the Os need: a management team and a squad of players with something about them. Well done, Fabio.

He might have been the right man at the wrong time. The fact his english was non existent was a big problem.

Re: Liverani's Lecce
Managers who have played a the highest level often get frustrated with lower league players.

Re: Liverani's Lecce
Of course, it's easy to say now but I always rated him. The fact that Beelzebub valued an ability to talk to him over an ability to talk to the players was the issue here.
PS: Venn diagram of people who chanted "Liverani Out" with those that currently sing "Ross Embleton" please.

He's put on a bit of weight since his time with us, must be his mother's pasta
Some great goals though, nice to watch after Saturday's snooze-fest

The fact that his interpretator was incompetent was bigger.

Re: Liverani's Lecce
Good for Liverani. Are Lecce just a smaller team punching above their weight, or are they being bankrolled by some dubious sugar-daddy? Canβt find out much from a simple google search.

Hardly nobody could do their best working for Becche tti . As we all now know Becche tti created a toxic environment.

Thanks. I've never been to that region, and was planing on something in the October half term. And Bari looks like it's about an hour's drive to Matera, where I also want to visit.Digby Chicken Caesar wrote: βMon Jun 29, 2020 11:47 amYes, but if you're visiting Apulia then Bari is better

What was Gallipoli like? It looks like its an interesting old town, with decent beaches nearby.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: βMon Jun 29, 2020 11:49 amBeen to the province of Lecce (Gallipoli) but not the city
