We'll still be playing guess the formation 10 mins after KO no doubt

4-3-3 perhaps with Sotiriou through the middle?

Vigoroux really making an impact since signing

Looks like 4-5-1 to me.

Sotiriou as the lone striker, with Wilkinson on the right.

Hopefully it’s a 4-4-2. Not sure why everyone thinks Wilkinson is now a winger?
Anyways, it’s just about the best starting xi we could have gone with. Almost a must win. But glad I’m not there!

Because he told Embleton that's where he wants to play and the latter being strong manager that he is says "yup, sure". Came from one of the rambling manager interviews I think.

Can't see it being 4-4-2, more likely this...

Marsh RB, Brophy LB
Clay / Cissé / Wright narrow CM
JMD left
Wilkinson right
Sotiriou chasing shadows down the middle

I predicted us to win to one but now I’m at the ground I don’t feel that confident

''Sotiriou chasing shadows down the middle''
More like Sotiriou being as he is a 6'5'' giant of a centre forward, leaping like John Toshack and outjumping all the defenders as the accurate crosses rain in from the wing areas, thus to score or lay off the ball to the close by attacking midfielders just playing in the pockets of space behind him behind
him, ahh what a wonderful vision !

Could be a real clash then .
Didnt Sotiriou start on the right when he scored for
Dover in the F.A Cup ?

Wonder what happens to the middle & left of the attacking 3rd of the pitch ?

Why - because of the team selection or formation you see being used ?

Anyway it's 2am very dark oz and hoping for a decent result
Any score just three points please
Just a feeling I’m getting

I've only even seen Toshack as a manager and the thought of him leaping is mind blowing

Chance for JMD laid into the middle after a nice one-touch move. Tries to control a shot as it bounces but goes over the bar.

Great move by the O's, shame about the end product.

Sotiriou looking sharp today.

Newport keeper claws away a ball looping into the top corner, I think from his own player.

Hearing the same, as in sacked. Make of long distance shot of the bench what you will...

Keeper saves another top corner bound attempt, this time a cross / shot from JMD

It's all very pretty but pretty ineffective too

Another save by the keeper from Brophy shot from distance
