The winless streak continues

Post by Fanny »

Although it’s only a poxy tournament that nobody cares
about but a losing streak regardless of competition isn’t good for morale.

Really hope we can pick up three points on Saturday and end this rut.

Depends on the performance. If they put a shift in, dug in and played well, then that’s progress. They are more or less a league and a half above us, their stability verses our chaos and to draw with them says more about us then it probably does about them.

One comment on the Rovers site suggests they were outplayed by a better team. Though the general opinion was a poor game.

Don’t much care really, playing ok but going out won’t do the confidence much good.

Saturday is what matters. I’ll be happy with us playing badly and winning, it’s points I want. A good performance is a bonus,
