Re: Manchester City
We will now enter a long period of appeals and counter appeals. Expect the final outcome will co-inside with the opening of our new stadium.

Re: Manchester City
All Premier League titles in the affected years should be stripped plus massive points deduction or multiple relegation. We've seen how harshly they dealt with Everton etc for single beaches so there's no excuse not to throw the book at Citeh

Re: Manchester City
They deserve having the book thrown at them and the very minimum sanctions imposed should be as meted out to Rangers FC .
Manchester City FC(f…..cheats) bought their success by cheating. Other Premiership clubs should now make their feelings very clear and file for massive damages from these criminals.Feel sorry for their fans but they will have the pleasure of visiting clubs like Crawley Town, Accrington Stanley etc.

Nothing will happen above and beyond a fine and, at worst, a manageable points deduction.

A big fine and around about 12 points deduction but they will fight this ruling tooth and nail.gshaw wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 3:50 pm All Premier League titles in the affected years should be stripped plus massive points deduction or multiple relegation. Re: Manchester City
No way is that acceptable after what Everton and Nottingham Forest were docked for single breaches. This is over a decade of sustained cheating, the integrity of the league has been wrecked as a resultSid Bishop wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 4:43 pmA big fine and around about 12 points deduction but they will fight this ruling tooth and nail.gshaw wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 3:50 pm All Premier League titles in the affected years should be stripped plus massive points deduction or multiple relegation. Re: Manchester City
So Manchester City won those league titles by cheating . Arsenal denied league titles while other clubs were relegated . This has opened up a massive can of wormsOyinbO wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 3:20 pm 114/115

Absolutely this. It will rumble on for several years as it has done already with the lawyers getting richer and richer until a punishment is doled out which will make everyone wonder what was theProposition Joe wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 4:31 pm Nothing will happen above and beyond a fine and, at worst, a manageable points deduction.

Re: Manchester City
At which point the other Prem clubs should counter sue for lack of action. Administer the punishment now like how Everton etc were treated and let Man Cheaty argue the case laterHighwood Man wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 5:17 pmAbsolutely this. Re: Manchester City
Correct . The FA has already set a precedent so this has to be the course of action. If that doesn’t happen then all hell will break loosegshaw wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 5:20 pmAt which point the other Prem clubs should counter sue for lack of action. Re: Manchester City
Quite, but it's what I'm expecting. Remembering when Luton were effectively relegated from the EFL with a massive points deduction (was it 30 points?), can't see anything like that happening.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 5:14 pmUnacceptable considering how other clubs have been punished in the past for a lot lessProposition Joe wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 4:31 pm Nothing will happen above and beyond a fine and, at worst, a manageable points deduction.

Re: Manchester City
Remember seeing a programme about 5 years ago on Utube I think about sponsoring the Etihad stadium by Etihad Airlines .
The value of this sponsorship was roughly £200 million but City were paid about double that by sheikh Mansour who owned both the airline and City themselves.
I can’t remember the actual figures but it was something like this.

Put them in a league with Rangers and let them play each other 38 times a year and no-one else.Max B Gold wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 5:25 pm They should be relegated to Div4 for breaches on that scale.
