SS Tory party, Freudian slip perhaps?EastDerehamO wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 8:21 am I'd be inclined to reserve judgement on that until one sees who wins Gyimah's East Surrey constituency come the next election.
What amazes me is that the politics of the lib dems are so different to the Tories, how can anybody justify changing parties. It is as if you have changed your ideology.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 7:51 am Another rat deserts the sinking ship which is the SS Tory Party.

Exactly, there as good as gone . Every one of them a Remainer. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Undoubtedly, but what is clear is that the Lib Dems have real momentum building up with a clear policy. That and ditching Vince.
See whether that momentum applies to the electorate ..but if Lib Dems dont win at election they will claim seats anyway as their current policy seems to me to be ignore the wishes of the votersDisoriented wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:02 amUndoubtedly, but what is clear is that the Lib Dems have real momentum building up with a clear policy. You mean an opposition party has a policy at odds with that of the government - the scoundrels!spen666 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:59 amSee whether that momentum applies to the electorate ..but if Lib Dems dont win at election they will claim seats anyway as their current policy seems to me to be ignore the wishes of the votersDisoriented wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:02 amUndoubtedly, but what is clear is that the Lib Dems have real momentum building up with a clear policy. What is all this rubbish in reading on this thread. They Liebrals are the Tories second eleven and always have been, the dirty, stinkin, Yella Tory snakes.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 11:26 am So many Tories are defecting to the Lib Dems, the Lib Dems are becoming more right wing, and look a bit like the moderate tory party now.
The real Tory party is left with the really hard right wing types now. Wonder how many tory voters will continue to vote for these hard right tories now. I suspect most will.
This country is slowly lurching towards fascism little by little IMO
Really? 48% will disagree with that and many of the 52% too. The problem is the party has policy to ignore & prevent the will of the majority vote in a referendum.o-no wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 11:45 amYou mean an opposition party has a policy at odds with that of the government - the scoundrels!spen666 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:59 amSee whether that momentum applies to the electorate ..but if Lib Dems dont win at election they will claim seats anyway as their current policy seems to me to be ignore the wishes of the votersDisoriented wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 10:02 am

You just say I am wrong, but havent actually challenged a single point I make.
Could it possibly be because .....
