Green Watch
Probably best we have one of these seeing as 1) they seem to be getting their sh*t together and 2) they’re the only left of centre option for anyone who isn’t a rabid fascist or centrist dad.
Anyone got any news on Zacky boy?

Re: Green Watch
Be interesting to see how many of the disillusioned left they get without appealing to the mental left.
Would probably vote for them if there was an election tomorrow- if I could be f*cked to vote and further enable the broken, rigged system

Their leader literally used to claim he could make women’s breasts get bigger through hypnosis and they are all in on gender nonsense.

They could clean up.
Other than the fact he’s done a reverse Stephen Yaxley Lennon and changed his name to sound more exotic, attended a fee paying school, and the stuff about hypno-tits.

He makes some of my man parts get bigger when he talks, so maybe there’s an element of truth in his claims?CEB2ElectricBoogaloo wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 9:35 am Their leader literally used to claim he could make women’s breasts get bigger through hypnosis and they are all in on gender nonsense.

Re: Green Watch
The online left seem to be rallying behind Dave/Zach as their newly appointed hero.
The thing about the whole hypnotits things is that it is meaningful insight into his character. We all know he didn't believe it (he's clearly not stupid). But he was willing to lean in to, to deceive people, and to take their money. So he gets my vote.

Farage has just had more experience. Give Dave some time to catch up. I have faith in the boy.

Green Parties blether on about being of the Left but when they get close to power tack right.
They're best ignored.

Re: Green Watch
In Germany (as part of a coalition). Where they promptly pushed through their policy priority to scrap the country's nuclear power generation capacity and replace it with lignite coal (the dirtiest form of coal) power plants because climate change. This combined with Russian oil being cut off has resulted in the collapse of the German industrial sector. Imbeciles.

Re: Green Watch
So we can judge UK parties by how their counterparts behaved in other countries? And it’s valid to do so while literally bringing up the specific circumstances that led to a policy change?

Also Scotland, when they were in government with the SNP. Presumably this is what MBG is referring to.

Re: Green Watch
I think this already happens to some extent for all parties (see comparisons between UK Labour and whatever the Danish equivalent is called, and the Tories with their equivalents in Australia and GOP). It's not necessarily relevant, or a useful thing to do. But, for the UK Greens, given their distance to date from achieving meaningful power in the UK, looking at their continental counterparts is probably going to happen more for them that it does for other parties.CEB2ElectricBoogaloo wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 12:22 pm So we can judge UK parties by how their counterparts behaved in other countries? Well they do operate in a western globalised capitalist society. If only tools were available to study the political economy of such societies.CEB2ElectricBoogaloo wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 12:22 pm So we can judge UK parties by how their counterparts behaved in other countries? Closer to home you may wish to comment on the Farago of Imbecilty they created at Brighton Council not that long ago.Dunners wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 12:35 pmI think this already happens to some extent for all parties (see comparisons between UK Labour and whatever the Danish equivalent is called, and the Tories with their equivalents in Australia and GOP). The people who represent the green party are in real life probably lovely people, but their policies cannot be considered serious. They are like a kite flapping in the wind, clueless.

Farago is a tremendous word. Will now refer to the frog-faced one as Nigel FaragoMax B Gold wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 12:40 pmCloser to home you may wish to comment on the Farago of Imbecilty they created at Brighton Council not that long ago.Dunners wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 12:35 pmI think this already happens to some extent for all parties (see comparisons between UK Labour and whatever the Danish equivalent is called, and the Tories with their equivalents in Australia and GOP).
