Re: Reading FC
Used to be a big club, has there been any examples of Chinese buyers bringing success to a club?

Re: Reading FC
Its not totally the investors fault. The chinese authorities limited/stopped overseas investment in such things a number of years back. Reading's plight is by far the worst and some of that blame has to fall at the feet of the FA - and Mr Majaeski for doing a "Barry" and dumping it on some hopeless case.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 5:08 pm Used to be a big club, has there been any examples of Chinese buyers bringing success to a club?

Re: Reading FC
Nothing to suggest that points gained by each club would be deducted.Could be 3 points added to clubs that Reading have still to play

Re: Reading FC
Another EFL shitttefest. Why not put the deadline to the end of the season so that L1 results are not potentially compromised. To fuxxxin simple for the vacuumous simpletons.

Re: Reading FC
There will probably be a fudge by the EFL to allow Reading to complete the season and if they survive probably hitting them with a massive points deduction for next season. The EFL won't want the hassle of dealing with points deductions from L1 clubs and the cost of possible law suits that would follow.
And here's an idea from the left field - if Reading did go to the wall, we rent their stadium for 5 years and big Nige includes a free return rail ticket on the Lizzie Line from Stratford to Reading in all tickets sold for "home" games, (including season tickets). That'll give the new investors time to build a shiny new stadium in Waltham Forest.

Re: Reading FC
That was Rob Couhig, former owner of Wycombe. He was in that owners of footy club video in which Travis was involved. He's 75 now so probably not part of the mysterious group looking at us.essexfootball wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 10:47 am Chairman is a scumbag, been a few buyers, the last one basically bought the clubs then Yonge pulled it, he wants to see the club die
