Re: Teddie Lamb
Christ, how old is he? Can't believe they're signing kids that young. Madness. And no way he should have his own Insta account.

Re: Teddie Lamb
I think he is maybe 16 if you click on all the pics. He was an unused sub v Oldham. Think we have done well ££££££ out of itProposition Joe wrote: ↑Wed Mar 12, 2025 7:46 pm Christ, how old is he? Re: Teddie Lamb
He should announce that from now on he would like to identify as Ted instead of the wee boys name he had inflicted on him at birth. Teddie FFS! What were his parents thinking?

Re: Teddie Lamb
But seriously, hope it works out well.
Despite all their millions, City do seem to bring youth players through to the first team squad.

Re: Teddie Lamb
£355,000 great bit of business
Manchester City have beaten off competition to sign promising Leyton Orient midfielder Teddie Lamb for £355,000. Lamb, 16, has stood out as an exciting prospect at the League One club despite not making a senior debut yet and attracted interest from a number of clubs.
City had been tracking Lamb for a while and a deal has now been officially confirmed, with the youngster able to start training and playing with the Under-16s and Under-18s at the club. It is the second significant academy deal completed in a matter of weeks after a £235,000 fee was agreed for Hibernian goalkeeper Ben Vickery, who will join the club later in 2025 when he turns 16

Sums up the lunacy of the Premier League. Paying £355,000 for a 16 year old kid who hasn’t played a minute of first team football for a League One side. And if it doesn’t work out, who cares? It’s just small change for City.

Might be small change fit city but it will go a long way towards us signing Kelman or Keeley on a permanent

He’s unlikely to ever play for the first team as well

Of course, I wish the kid the best of luck in his career, but I wouldn't particularly want City to keep ramming it down my throat as to how good a signing he's been.

Is I believe correct, Both REG and Abdulai rumoured to have been signed for six figure fees with sell ons.

I thought Swansea were upset that they'd let Abdulai join us for a nominal fee - effectively letting him walk away for free to help him kick on with his career - and we didn't reciprocate any favours when they came knocking for Ethan?
REG is a run of the mill lower leagues 26 year old CB who I'd be absolutely amazed if we'd pay to sign. And be equally amazed if Charlton thought there was any chance of them getting a sell on fee back any time in the future.
