Tue 18 Feb A Wrexham - D
Sat 22 Feb A Bolton Wanderers - W
Tue 25 Feb A Birmingham City - L
Sat 1 Mar H Charlton Athletic - D
Tue 4 Mar A Rotherham United - W
Sat 8 Mar H Northampton Town - W
Sat 15 Mar A Blackpool - D
Sat 22 Mar A Mansfield Town - W
Sat 29 Mar H Stevenage - W
Tue 1 Apr A Burton Albion - W
Sat 5 Apr H Wigan Athletic - W
Sat 12 Apr A Crawley Town - W
Fri 18 Apr H Barnsley - D
Mon 21 Apr A Cambridge United - W
Sat 26 Apr H Wycombe Wanderers - D
Sat 3 May A Huddersfield Town - L
32 points - total of 82 and a comfortable playoff position.
Next 4 games are incredibly tough and we should keep in mind we then have a run of 10 games that aren't particularly tricky on paper. With two really hard ones to end.
Pick up the odd point here and there over the next fortnight, with one win and i'll be incredibly comfident we'll finish top 6.

After Rotherham we have a good run in till we meet wycombe . If we loose the next 5 games and your predictions come true we will still reach 74 points which might still put us in a play off position

The league position we are in, the football we are playing and the strength of the squad mean this is ours to throw away.
Wycombe and Huddersfield are great warm ups for the play offs.

It’s just crazy that we’re talking about this when you think about the start we had this season. What a great time to be an Orient fan

Re: 6 at home, 10 away
Last 2 games of season will decide who plays who in play offs
Could also be warm up games for teams, if any have already cemented a play off place.
The 2 away games v Blackpool & Mansfield will be tough

Re: 6 at home, 10 away
If we have 81 points going into the last 2 games then we'd possibly have a tilt at the automatic spot. I don't see that happening.
Re: 6 at home, 10 away
Here are the 6th place points from last few seasons:
20/21: 74
21/22: 83
22/23: 77
23/24: 76
Avg: 77.5
I think 77 points will just about secure 6th spot. So that means the Os needing 27 points from the next 16 games. If we can pick up 4 from Wrexham, Birmingham and Bolton then this is very much doable. Lose all 3 then its tough.
Need to hope Birmingham and Wycombe carry on winning and beating the teams around us.

Whats the average points haul to finish 2nd?
‘Crunching the numbers from the past 20 seasons, the average number of points needed to claim the title is 94.
To finish second, the average comes up at just below 87, with third place usually achieving around 83.’
With Brum running away with it 2nd place may well be lower than 87.
15 games to go, win 12 might be in with a chance! Massive ask though.

Well we'll know whether it's a realistic possibility or not in 12 days time....

To even be talking about automatic is amazing considering the start we had

Wycombe currently in second, 10 points ahead.
They have some tough games to play, including Birmingham, Wrexham and us.
Their ppg has less than ours recently.
We have games in hand over Stockport, and Huddersfield look shaky.
If we manage to win the next three (massive ask of course) I reckon it's game on

Much rather play tough teams, we usually do better against decent teams and lose against those whom we should beat.

Re: 6 at home, 10 away
If we avoid more injuries and we can keep this current squad of players fit for run in, I cannot see us losing many games or dropping many points.
We should know what is needed and what is realistically possible, after the next 4 games v Wrexham, Bolton, Birmingham & Charlton.
Its very exciting to be in the mix and talking about Playoffs at this stage of the season, and still with an outside shot at auto promotion.
