Theo and Graham
What is the situation with both of them, I think both their contracts are up in the summer, do u reckon they will renew their deals. Will they ever even return from their awful setbacks - and if they were filly fit, would they start? I personally think o neill on the left and agyei on the right are our strongest wingers but with all the options its complicated.

Re: Theo and Graham
Probably time to move on. Harsh on both but we have to be realistic with our limited budget and neither have contributed for over a year. We also have adequate cover now

Re: Theo and Graham
Basically this, the club has shown loyalty to both this season and it's cost best part of £8k a week for no return. Can't be that sentimental again with budgets as they are.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 10:59 pm Probably time to move on. Not sure what the situation is these days whether non-contract "pay as you play" deals are still a thing but that seems a pragmatic route for the club. I doubt there will be a queue of sides wanting to gamble on two players with recurring serious injuries so might be the best offer either will get.

A shame because Theo was our most passionate and exciting player by some margin at a point.

Re: Theo and Graham
Graham’s career is finished.
Theo might have a sliver of a chance of picking his career up again but probably not here.
Interestingly we have a thread on this forum asking why Ruel moved to another club for a significant pay rise. The fates of Graham & Theo explain why.

Yes, that's a good point . I haven't any proof one way or another but I have a feeling we won't be seeing either player again in an Orient shirt . It's a shame because before their injuries they were both really good players .'The Reverend wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 11:18 pm Graham’s career is finished.

Yes the world of professional Football can be very harsh………some people think they all earn £300k per weekRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 11:21 pmYes, that's a good point . Re: Theo and Graham
They are not the same at all.
Theo was a proven match winner time after time, whereas Graham has done next to nothing and just seems to live rent free in some fans heads.
I can’t recall any game where Graham left a lasting impression on account of his performance.

Theo isn't the level required of a playoff league one team, he is highly overrated on here don't offer either contracts but let them train here

Re: Theo and Graham
I think it is time for both to be moved on The club has been great with both of them. Their salaries together with part of Moncur and Piggotts salaries that we are still paying for must take up a huge part of our budget . Theo is a special player for the fans but I don’t think if he was fit he would struggle to gain a permanent position in the sideRich Tea Wellin wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 10:59 pm Probably time to move on. Re: Theo and Graham
I never understood the love in for Graham on here either. I think I saw the bloke drill in about 7 or 8 crosses during the rare occasions we saw him on the pitch and they never resulted in a goal.ContrifibulatoryFred wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 6:51 am They are not the same at all.

Re: Theo and Graham
Took a couple of weeks to get up to speed (was he a late joiner?) but obviously looked good the handful of times he played.

Re: Theo and Graham
Our upturn in form last season after the rough start coincided with him starting. He never played that many games but looked good when he did, and out of position as a rwb as well. We got unlucky with him, he'd stayed fit for years before signing and was clearly a good league 1 player before his knee gave up.

That’s actually mad to consider those four “dead wages” amidst everything right nowmoonwalk19 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 8:28 amI think it is time for both to be moved on The club has been great with both of them. Probably looking at 10 -12 thousand as week if figures are to be believed.idontkn0 M wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 9:36 amThat’s actually mad to consider those four “dead wages” amidst everything right nowmoonwalk19 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 8:28 amI think it is time for both to be moved on The club has been great with both of them. Re: Theo and Graham
Fortunately they have Omar Beccles to give them PFA advice. I think they can get payouts if they can't play professionally again from the PFA.
And as someone else said you can see why Ruel accepted a 3 year deal with BR when you can one be ine tackle away or awkward fall from your career being over.

Re: Theo and Graham
Strongly suspect they won't be offered new contracts which sadly is the right decision. Thanks to both and good luck for the future.

Re: Theo and Graham
If we were a bigger club with a more substantial budget I would be in favour of them both getting another year deal, however as it stands they are likely to be both on starting first team wages and the form of O'Neil and Ageyi has moved them both to back up.

Presumably we have O'Neill, Williams, Perkins and DJ already signed up for next season?

Re: Theo and Graham
Can't see Markandy breaking into Blackburns team anytime soon so maybe he'll do a season long loan - there's potential there, I'd dig that.
